For the patient at 23:06, were his dietary components available over the counter? I know MCT is available, but what about the BHB and AA?
"KetoND" brand of BHB salts shows a total of 11.7 grams of BHB. Would that be in the same ballpark as what your patient was taking?
Were the AA amino acids taken as a supplement or was it just "x" grams of fish or chicken, etc?
Do you have dietary recommendations for someone about to undergo radiation treatments of the spine? My wife has been "keto'ing" for a couple of weeks now with one small meal a day. Her ketones are 2.9, with glucose at 92.
She hasn't taken the BHB supplement yet because I didn't want the calcium salts to mask her true blood calcium level.
