Nice video and even nicer mends on some challenging drifts - well done ! Summer is great for throwing dries but is probably my least favorite of the four seasons, as generally the bigger fish present in the spring and autumn go into hiding when it's hot and the flows are thin. Nice to see you catch a char on the dry. ☮ from North Idaho.

I know your not too close to my neighborhood. The closest place to me that had bull trout was fished to extinction years ago.

I had a question pop up while watching this one. You go to so many streams that are loaded with fish. Are these streams stocked with fish through your state's Fish and Game people or are these fish that grow naturally in the wild? Either way, it's got to be a lot of fun catching them.

Most the stream I fish are wild trout! However they have been stocked in the past but not in a long time! 🙌

I LOVE your channel, but dude, there's NO WAY I'm hiking thru the backcountry of Idaho without bear spray AND an appropriate sidearm.
Plus, you have someone very dear to you on your adventures. Wouldn't you want to protect her in case you're surprised?
A can of bear spray weighs maybe a pound. A Glock 20 with a 17-round clip weighs a few pounds. Definitely worth the minor inconvenience.
