Tony is the funniest and most gifted actor/comedian in the business. He is absolutely hilarious in this series. These clips don’t even scratch the surface of how brilliant he is in this role. Huge fan. Always have been since I first saw him in Wings and Monk. Pure comedy gold.

Your pedestrian safety is of no import to me is one of my favorite lines he has.
My favorite Abe scene is the one where he's excitedly trying to tell Madge and Miriam about a great new show called The Twilight Zone. They're walking around the apartment literally ignoring him, and he's following them going on and on about an unhappy businessman that gets on a commuter train that always stops at an idyllic village he's never seen before and the mean boss that keeps telling the guy to "Push! Push! Push!" I've never seen Abe as excited or enthused about anything in the entire series, and they were totally ignoring him as if he wasn't' even there!

Any time Abe calls Imogene Dodi is my favorite 😂 It still kills me that he stays doing this despite being told repeatedly that her name isn’t actually Dodi.💀
My favorite scene didn’t make the cut, but it’s when he’s in his study and yells out his opinion on something to his wife and daughter. When Rose asks his opinion as if she hadn’t heard him, he just yells loudly, “Ibid!” I lost it. It’s still my favorite scene.
Tony played Abe perfectly! Abe’s change from stubborn and not accepting to supportive. So well done.
How have I not heard of this show?? “Monk” was my favorite! So excited to get into it!
Monk is a genre of its own, a class of its own and amazing. But Shalhoub is as brillant in MMM as in Monk. I hope to see him many years more.

Hands down the most annoying character in the show. Funny, but also annoying.
He is a good actor indeed, but this character is heavily influenced by his "monk" character.
