Haters will always hate no matter if it was a Ferrari or a Bugatti, there are always haters for everything. The fact is that these days the Escalade presents a very big threat to any luxury cars, including Rolls-Royce, and Bentley. That is why they feel the need to shit on it.🧏♂️

It still isn’t as refined as the Cadillac that’s nearly $15,000 cheaper! So that says a lot about *gm’s* attention to detail, packaging and quality. Toyota cannot compete with them folks.

In a luxury car buyer's eyes, that Caddy is lightyears ahead of the lexus. Things happen differently in the real world.
I think that I would get something smaller -- even for a road trip. But, I would probably choose the Escalade. To me, it seems like MORE for less money.
It’ll switch up on you like a narcissistic gold digging girlfriend, unless you hit it and quit it real quick. The lexus is a true house wife, could make her a grandma too
I'd go LX. I drove off road and through snow and ice about half the year in Alaska. Full time 4WD is the biggest factor for me. LX size is perfect for my garage.
Toyota relies too much on their 90s era reliability. They don't innovate or push the bar with anything. I've never had reliability out of any GM vehicle I've owned so that's not an issue. I'd get the Cadillac no contest, better tech, just as good interior quality, and looks better imo.
Exactly! Toyota was good when a lot of American manufacturers were not doing great. But GM has largely fixed all those issues and is now innovating and styling way past what Toyota has ever done.
The choice is simple, the LX! To this day, GM cannot make reliable vehicles, they lose half their value in two years. No, thank you will stick with no one reliability.
For anyone who’s going vouching for the Lexus. Come to the Middle East and see the issues going on with the new 3.5 TT V6 engines made by Toyota. The mechanics of the Toyota dealers will still recommend you to go back the V8 as the turbos are not able to withstand heat and overheat. People of America, the products made by GM shipped to the Middle East are very reliable as there are some parts changed to bear the heat. The 6.2 and the 5.3 are solid engines.
I have no loyalty to either brand. Toyota pricing is a combination of greed and preying on consumer belief they are the only reliable brand. Look at the last several JD Power reports and you'll find GM and Toyota neck-and-neck on reliability and dependability. Escalade is a value just as a Corvette is a value vs its competition.
I absolutely agree! Cadillac is pushing the envelope in design and looking to give their customers a special experience/more reasons why you want to drive their truck home. It’s gorgeous.
@@maleneguillory865 You mean like the owners of brand new Tundras that couldn’t drive them for weeks because the cabs had to be removed from the bed in order to address one of the issues they’ve been experiencing? Good afternoon gentlemen. Another great vehicle comparison video. Even before the video started, I knew the Cadillac Escalade would win over the Lexus LX 600. The Escalade has the size advantage and is more modernized in terms of tech features. As for the Lexus LX 600, that second row is great! Definitely in relaxed mode sitting back there. In a upcoming video it would be nice to see the Lexus LX 600 go up against the BMW X7. In terms of size both vehicle almost identical. Just a three inch length advantage for the BMW X7. Another vehicle to go up against the Lexus LX600 would be the Infiniti QX80. That would be a good comparison video interior wise for both vehicles. As for the Cadillac Escalade it would be a good comparison video between that and the Jeep Grand Wagoneer. When the Grand Wagoneer came out it was aimed directly to compete with the Cadillac Escalade. The Lincoln Navigator too, but primarily the Escalade. Both the Escalade and Grand Wagoneer come with a console freezer and autonomous driving.
Lexus will introduce a new LX with a 14 inch display found in the new RX and GX. Once that is included, it would become a much better vehicle. I do like Cadillac’s technology though.

The Escalade is nice city car . The Lexus is a unicorn I that it is just brilliant at off-road ! I live in Australia and this car can cut it in the city and is just at home off-road. I don’t mean puddle jumping in a park or urban area! This car has real off-road capability. Which means it has compromises compared to the city based Escalade But if you want a car for city duties that’s not too big and real off-road abilities the Lexus wins hands down . Plus it’s proven in really extreme environments like Australia . Where some ! I some people use these cars to their true potential.Because we can and we can afford to take these off road and want bit more luxury that a basic Toyota.I have driven both vehicles and they are both great cars depending on on what you really want to do with them .
Will the LX get the new tech from Lexus? Why are they holding back?? They have the new heads up display and gauge cluster, it’s so annoying that the NX gets all the new tech but the flagship LX doesn’t
If money were no object. I'd get the Escalade, I would buy it with the best extended warranty I could get because I would need it ( been there done that). As far as space and comfort hands down the Escalade. Looks the Escalade. V8 engine the Escalade. The LX 600 guarantees that all would work beautifully, perfectly crafted, I have a lot of hearing loss so the Mark Levinson would be absolutely fine, my defective hearing would not appreciate the AKG any more or any less. Even with the V6 in the Lexus I would trust its quality over the cadillac. If you read the cadillac reviews, which I have for 5 years, you will confirm that Escalade owners love their cadis but they hate all the PITA issues that come up all the time. My Escalade went to the shop for repairs/defects 26 times. I got rid of it. I miss it all the time. Now i have a GX 460 3 times in the shop, 2 oil changes and 1 front end alignment!!! Will most. likely get another Lexus because the quality is much better. If I could I'd still have an Escalade..................if I could afford to have it repaired all the time.

Toyota relies too much on their 90s era reliability. They don't innovate or push the bar with anything. I've never had reliability out of any GM vehicle I've owned so that's not an issue. I'd get the Cadillac no contest, better tech, just as good interior quality, and looks better imo.

Lexus if one is considering reliability and longevity.
All that suspension on the GM is soo worrisome due to the history of GM products

Lexus anyday
Still, very ugly designed, and falls very short next to The Escalade’s phenomenal screens.
Id probably take the Lx for reliability and I prefer the exterior styling but the escalade has better tech and is more luxurious

Not to mention cars nowadays come standard such as backup camera infotainment screens emergency brake sensors etc thus driving the Msrp up naturally. Backup cameras back then was considered a luxury nowadays it’s mandatory by law so again naturally it’s going to cost more.

That's because Lexus > Cadillac
@@videos1775 no. Anything > Lexus
@naveenthemachine lmaoo okay facts > opinions
You will get that escalade for half price after 2 years . Lexus will hold 90% of its value then .
Escalade - NOT EVEN A QUESTION
Idk why I wasn't subbed to you
the irony here is that Escalade may be very modern, ultra luxurious and looks cutting edge, while the LX600 may look conservative and tamed.....yet we all know in longevity LX wins by lightyears!
With a turbo engine? Doesn’t that go against all you last for ever Lexus fanatics? Now turbos last?
@@MercOne it will certainly lasts longer than the Cadillac, and overall will have less problems not just in the engine department....hope that simplifies it for you
@@ExpertTH-camCommentatorIdk if you can really prove this one buddy.
I routinely see Cadillacs from the 70s, 80s, 90s and early 2000s on the road
In fact I always see the first 2 generations of Cadillac Escalades on the roads here in NYC, routinely
Reliability from Toyota is overrated
@@ExpertTH-camCommentator Based on what? You have the data? They’re both body on frame vehicles. What makes the Lexus last longer?
Cadillac escalade forever🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉
I cant with the lexus grill , Looks like it has a very bug mustach with its mouth is just under .😂
An overpriced Land Cruiser vs an overpriced Chevy Suburban. Wit vs ego.
Easily the Lexus. The cadillac is too big, and I don't trust its reliability. Million Mile Lexus all the way.
Escalade wins!!!!
20+ YEARS- *only* new Yukon Denalis every 3 years. Will never buy GM again - warranty burned me badly and the dealership service manager even showed me internal GM corporate talks about the warranty issue I had. No way ever again. Currently at 36,000 miles and plethora of problems. Gonna get out of lease few months early now --- thus far gonna go smaller like QX60 or MDX. To each his own - but no more GM for me
Easy. Escalade FTW
Everything’s wrong with the lx600. It’s ugly, outdated inside, forget calling the interior luxurious. It’s not even premium. Tech is dated, lacks features, rear seats are unusable, rides handles like crap, and it’s way overpriced
If you care about reliability then don’t buy a luxury car LOL. Buy a Camry or corolla if you want the ultimate luxury of reliability
what's up naveen the green machine, still ignoring comments from other channel huhs. also, some people actually care about owning a luxury car for a long time and not needing to waste precious time in the shop for things to be replaced
@@huanronghu4432 if you care about reliability at this point then you can’t afford the car. People who can afford this kind of car aren’t pulling out hairs over the fret of unreliability.
@@huanronghu4432and there are plenty of Escalades on their third and fourth owners and still running strong with stock parts.
@@naveenthemachine if u care about spending time in the shop, u get a jlr product
@@G-Rated yeah, but those are the older escalades. the newer ones are not built like they used to
The interior of the LX is as ugly as a sin. And anyone who picks the LX over the Escalade needs to be baptized. Because something must be wrong with them.
At that price-point... Dul-l-lllsville... like orthopedic shoes, comfy, but fuddy.
The Escalade is just not an attractive vehicle. the Lexus needs to make some major updates to the dash to even be considered…at $132…come on step it up. So for me neither for now but great review you guys do an amazing job!!!!!
Cadillac Escalade
I’m going with the Cadillac because I am just a caddy girl. I am about to trade in my SRX for a New Escalade! ❤
Live your days out in a good decision sweetheart 😊
Don't buy that garbage🙏🏼🤦♀️
Why did Toyota partner with GM?
GM saw the joint venture as a way to get access to quality small cars and an opportunity to learn about the Toyota Production System and The Toyota Way, a series of lean manufacturing and management philosophies that had made the company a leader in the automotive manufacturing and production industry.

Toyota is way better momma😊
Lease an Escalade. Buy a Lexus.
Escalades always outlast Lexus 🤦♂️
@@inchlorIentztJiIu In what world? The Lexus lx/Toyota Land Cruiser has an unmatched build quality. As long as you do oil changes…routine maintenance you’re good to go. My 4Runner is a 2012 with 188k miles and has not given me any issues. Just routine maintenance. I like the Escalade but IMO no comparison.
Escalade for me boo boo! It’s big enough for my donk and has more rizz!!! I need a car that’s blinged out to match my phat cakes and Escalade is it boo boo! Buy it for me!!!
Cadillac has thick skin but has nasty reliability issues as it age, while Lexus has thin skin but made up for superb reliability as it age.
Cadillac while stay in the shop for repairs. Gm junk
Quality wise I’d pick the Lexus. The 6.2 engine in the Cadillac has had lifter failure issues for years. Toyota quality is way better than GM.
It’s funny when y’all pick a issue from *gm* to mention and just ignore all of the issues Toyota has had lately just so you can claim their reliability and longevity will be superior. 🤣
@@G-Rated I had a new ‘21 suburban and at 768 miles I had a lifter failure so I’m a little salty towards GM. 🤣
@@mikesowell7969 you still driving that Suburban?
Not in a million years
I'd pick the Escalade.
