I have a 7700xt and a 7600x and I play 1440p ultra and I feel like I get more than this but I could be remembering wrong

Might be, but remember by selecting Ultra preset it turns on FSR by default but I benchmarked at NATIVE resolution or may be your platform is newer with faster DDR5 memory & 7600x having a higher boost clock so......
