Really cool. I'm planning to make an adventure game where you collect items / talk to NPC's and try to solve puzzles. I managed to make a controllable sackbot that turns its head according to the right stick and look around to see "hotspots" which can be triggered by L1 that's connected with an"AND GATE". But im really far from achieving what i want. Im glad you're here to help the community :) Thank you!
I've been needing some thoughts on how I was going to create the next part of a level I've been working on. Essentially, you have a sackbot leading the player.. suddenly this video shows up and teaches me exactly what I need to know to create it! I've got a tag label "Action Cue" and each colour represents a different action, so having wired it all up, I can owe my continued creation to you :D
There are things u did and didn't consider mistro, and that is that you can do this with special abillities (wall jump, ledge climb, ladder climb, etc.) without using just 1 tag for the entire animation. For Ledge climb, I just used a jump tag and a piece of stickerpannel a bit higher to make him grab the ledge, which will make him automatically start the animation. I never would've figured that out if it werent 4 this tutorial. Thx a Million bro! :)
@keywc I thought that was made clear in the intro, but yes. Also, making them non-grabbable makes slapping a non-issue. This is more for the idea that a sackbot would change behaviors, so that he may not start in exactly the same place each time, and as I said, it's more malleable for if you want to make environment tweaks.
thanks I totaly missuderstood tags and MM was kinda vauge in the tutorials so I am glad you understand how to use them.. since for me Sackbot logic is right up there with coding & Scripting ... not good at eather I am more into graphic level disigning :)... but since I work solo I have to learn logic also.

I realize now that my method would only work with 1 sackbot, and if I wanted multiple sackbots I would need to do something like multiple tags on the same spot or something similar to that. Technically your method if sackbots were right behind wouldn't work as some sackbots would jump too early, but the way you have it works very well. I'm not trying to disprove the theory, but being a man of my stature I try to find the solution with the least amount of problem.
ATTENTION- Helpful add-on to his idea. Adding to the list of movements/functions, you can also command the sackbut to STOP by simply attaching an anti-gravity tweaker (AG0%-Damp100%) to the sackbot's controllinator, then attach the un-used(top in his tutorial) wire of the selector to the AG Tweaker. Every time your bot runs across the tag labeled Stop, it will heed your words. Play, Create, Share ;)

@Blasty25 No, I used recorded sackbots, which was a right pain. I regret it now, but it's working, so I didn't feel that the new method necessitated a change. I used it at the end of the level, though, when you chase the boss guy.
@MrTochigui I'm not sure about this but for the waves I think you could use sequencers with batteries to create the waves. E.g. Add a few emitters through batteries every wave.

I like your method of alternating left and right jumps, but I question if this way would work as well: Place 2 more tag sensors on the sackbot, that indicate if he is running right or left, which light up along with the selector that makes him run right or left. Then, connect all the "right jumps" to tag sensors that sense the "run right" tag and vice versa for left jumps. (I was busy at the time I posted this and ergo could not try it out for myself, sorry.)
@TensaHichigetsu make a tag a the end so when he hitts the end of the simmying he drops and to make him drop you put a matereal tweaker so when he's not at the end its grabbable and when he is the matereal tweeker will make it not grabble thus falling.set the matereal tweeker to grabbable and it should work p.m. if it does not work.(through youtube my psn is down.)
