KMG the Aberdonian Artist Creating Guardians for the City

KMG is an Aberdonian artist now based in Edinburgh. She is known for her large scale stylised depictions of folk and cultural myths and legendary figures of the past. For the Nuart Aberdeen Festival in 2024 she created three murals at the Airport. Each depicting a famous figure from collective memory. Figures and characters whose lore would have been spread over the millenia through oral stories and traditions.
