Whitewater Ski Resort in the British Columbia, Canada interior. 3 fixed grip lifts, access to back country, great black diamond and double black tree skiing and 40ft of annual light dry powder.
Somehow I thought you would mention Sipapu. I took an RV from Dallas to Sipapu 9 years ago with our kids. This is where my son learned to snowboard and my daughter ski. The first time they saw snow. Love that place.
What a cool story! I have a similar background with Ski Apache, grew up skiing there and all, and I know how sentimental these places can be. Thanks for sharing, and for watching!!
I live at Granby Ranch and I can’t think of a better family ski hill. If you have kids, all you have to do is tell them to stay on the east mountain lift and there’s nothing that they cannot ride to the bottom.
Awesome video! Super cool to hear about some of the alternatives to the big resorts. I think price played a big factor in why my family was never very into skiing growing up and something like this video could have helped us to hit the slopes more. I haven't been to most of these except Granby Ranch when I worked at the Y but that was a really cool spot. Thanks for sharing your passion! I look forward to more content like this. Keep it up and stay safe on those slopes!
Wow, what an awesome comment! Thank you so much for your insights and encouragement. It is my hope that access to skiing can increase, rather than decrease as prices surge. Little guys like the resorts in this video carry that torch. Thanks again. You've given me a lot to think about!
👍 to the 505 / 575 : new mexico skis like 😎 ... yeah, snowpack is not guaranteed ... but ... he's right.
But when it's good, it's goooooood
Remarkable and informative video!
Glad you enjoyed it! I'll be putting out more of this style soon!

I 100% agree! Plus, they have (more) affordable ski in/ski out.
Also, you're living the dream! I'd love to have a place up there!

Check out Sunrise in Az they have night skiing on select weekends. Best resort in Az imo.
I appreciate this tip! I was already thinking of hitting Arizona Snowbowl this season, so I'll add it to the list!
