In this video for the Maschine MK2, learn how to slice your samples. I cover the process of setting up slices and then applying them both to an individual sound slot as well as to a new group.
Thanks for watching and make sure to check out the other MK2 videos!
I have been looking for how to get pads to assign in non-keyboard mode for days. And right at the end of the video, just when I was about to give up!!! He explains how to assign a sliced sample to each pad. Very happy!
I don't know what I'd do without you. Other people are charging money for the same information. Thank you for your time and effort. Easy to understand.
Definitely one of the best maschine series out there. Thx a lot And keep the vids coming
Karpe D.M Thanks for watching, more videos coming
This definitely was a good video, the part about adding effects on individual pads was helpful!
Tim Scranton - with the pad mode menu activated, press the top white button that is located above "pad mode" on the screen. This will lock or unlock the menu.
***** Are you applying the slices to a single sound slot or across several slots?
I'm sorry I do not understand how to export multiple scenes into separate tracks. Thank you for your help
How do I save the slices though? Every time I disconnect my Maschine I have to start the whole process, editing the slices all over again, etc. I've tried "save project with samples" and that doesn't seem to work. Any help is appreciated.
Michael Parrish I’m having the same problem , did you get an answer? Please help
Thank you SO much for this video. The only problem i have with my mk2 is that when ever i press the pad mode button, It does not turn off and it just stays highlighted.
Hey man! Thanks for the help! In the new update however, they got rid of the "Apply to" tab. Is there a way to now import these slices to a new group with as much ease as before? Thanks again!
Excellent vid, thank you!
Can you use the hardware to slice samples like you can on MK2 mikro ?
If BPM is set auto, then after you've chopped your sample will it be the correct BPM noted for playback
once i apply the slices, i still cannot change the polyphony. Sorry, but can you explain your comment more? because once i apply them and leave keyboard mode it says " Swing cycle and invert" instead of tune. Thanks
Thanx a lot !
I basically want it so the "tune and reverse option etc..." show up under the sound tab in keyboard mode so i can pitch my samples
5:40 apply samples to new group
To be honest since i buy my mk2 (2fuckingweeks)i search for this tip...i figure many other waYS BUT..
Thanks
I thINK THAT THE VIDEOS ARE USEFUL DO YOU HAVE ANY FROM SCRATCH.
thats it
This also makes it so i can't change the polyphony of each pad, and each one is a different volume
Can I sample records
video was good little faster than usual vocally so i had to pause 2534 times
I feel like I am watching the Adams Family version of this tutorial. The hands don't make ti clear at "all" times what part of the screen they are talking about.
