+The Excavator uhhh no. the song was apart of the band's first demo before they're first label. it was supposed to be a beside to the love buzz but Kurt didn't like his voice so they went with big cheese. also it was subpop who made the first album.
This amazing song sounds so Soundgarden,it was in that period when Kurt bought Ultramega O.K. and he was listening to it,he was impressed,he became a Soundgarden fan ever since
Nick Chuck: As my memory recalls, it was either released as a b-side on one of the "Nevermind" singles or on the "Incesticide" compilation which came out between "Nevermind" and "In Utero".
Mitch Wotton: This was released as a b-side on one of the "Nevermind" singles (can't remember which one) -- or the "Incesticide" compilation which was released between "Nevermind" and "In Utero"

that double beat by that impeccable drummer just makes it all the more dandy. Then theres that guitar solo that's like liquid "goodie goodie feeling" going down the barrel and into the senses.
Actually Nirvana wanted to release this song on Incesticide but in 1988 Kurt told Jack Endino to erase this song from tape because he didnt like the vocals at the time
Kurt didn't want to include it on Bleach, because apparently he was embarrassed by some of the vocals, but he later had a change of heart and wanted to include it in Incesticide. But when he went to Jack, he told Kurt that he erased the master recordings. Well, this must've not been the case because years later, it was found on the Outcesticide bootleg tapes, and then officially released on WTLO.
favorite Nirvana song. Its Like Tesla with a body of Sharzenegger playing cards and laughing hystericaly.....in the corner of a starbucks....in NY CITY.
Among the B-sides of Nirvana, has so many good songs. ( I mean, Songs non-Incesticide) Sappy, Oh the Guilt, Blandest, Verse Chorus Verse, Old age, Do Re Mi, I hate myself, etc .... If there was an unprecedented "5th" album, it would be as good as, Bleach, In utero, Nervermind.
Zycho yeah, but old age, verse chorus verse, and do re mi would've fit great. Infact, those songs were to be on the new album seeing as they were made (im pretty sure) in the last months of Kurt's life.
Nirvana is the only band in the world that I like more than 10 songs by and I like around 75 Nirvana songs. You can't get that kind of quality from any other band.
I love how when Kurt sings, he isnt trying to sound perfect, it's so raw and real, hate turning on the radio and hearing "perfect" voices that never miss a note and have really shitty tones. we miss you kurt, and dave powers on!
sure, this is one of the best songs from nirvana....There´s not so much other bands in the world, who´s telling the whole true (even if it´s sad)......

Grunge is very easy to write if you have the emotion for it.. you can't half ass it and lie about it.. it wont work.. Nirvana is sooo good because the energy and emotional level he put into all his songs... thats y i love this band.. i write grunge too and have the emotion but kurt... he was god like in a sense... he had all the emotion in the world and he used it like power! Nirvana = best band
honestly i dont care what people have to say about nirvana and how kurt influenced/ could've influenced today's current music. I grew up on them and they helped me open myself to a wide range of music, which is also where kurt got his start and found his way to punk and grunge. All i know is i fucking love this band and it was a shame he killed himself because he was a musical genius, which is hard to say for some of today's artists, tho there are still many great musicians out there
Wtf how could you not know about this song? When I first started getting into nirvana I was in 8th grade. The first cd I bought was their bootleg box album. Nirvana never sounded more like grunge until you hear their demo tapes.
it was released on a cd called "nirvana: best of the box" which are some of the demos found on tapes that kurt recorded on like a fisher price recorder...it's him.
these songs that never came out are really fucking awesome. god i mean, i don't care about nirvana, i just wish kurt was still alive. even if he had stopped making music and disolved nirvana, i just wished he was here. RIP
this song is effin awsome but it always brings shivers down my spine when he yells because i think of him letting out a big yell right before the triger was pulled

yeah it was on the first outcesticide i think they may be the same one just the tape speeds may have been altered some how idk but this one was the second version i heard
I remember when I heard this song for the first time. I found it on some obscure bootleg titled ´I the raw´ which I bought on a vacation in San Marino in 1997 and the song blew me away. It is one of my all time favourite Nirvana songs. They should have put it on the Love Buzz b-side instead of Big Cheese imho :)
@Zerrith Just remember his comments on Knack's "My Sharona" ;) which I liked.... However, Kurt did love ABBA, which I also loved since 1st learning how to play a LP vinyl on my own :p
Kurts' guitar sound is so raw on this track, i love this era of Nirvana, Peace.
How this was not a track on an album is beyond me.
+Nick Chuck geffen records thought the song titled described the song in relation to the other songs on the album, so they never put it on.

Man I am always listening to this song these days.. Great song.. Fantastic music and how Kurt's voice mixes with it.. just awesome..
These unreleased tracks are fucking orgasmic 😁
Right?!
I BUSTED A NUT 8 TIMES A SECOND
literally.
I discovered this song on the nirvana box set 7 years ago. Been in love with it ever since.
The moment you realize what a great band Nirvana was by letting this song unreleased
So true!my new favorite songs are all unreleased!
Actually Nirvana wanted to release this song on Incesticide but in 1988 Kurt told Jack Endino to erase this song from tape because he didnt like the vocals at the time
It could only mean one thing then, everyone here is a really good fan of nirvana :p

The great thing about being 41 is that I was 24 when I saw Nirvana in Miami in Nov. or 1993. I had this song on a bootleg years ago.
Another gem from the mind of Kurt.
