From your initial dye application the saddlebags came out nice. I obtained a bunch of riding gear including some black leather riding pants. Some areas like around the pockets and the inner areas around the pant cuff have similar loss of color like those saddlebags I want to turn them around for sale at a moderate price but I don't want to offer them looking like they do so I'll follow your steps in the video. I also have some saddlebags that just need some saddle soap since I already cleaned them with dishsoap and warm water and their color is in good shape. Thanks for a practical, well done video

Try saddle soap next time. Much better to use than dawn dish soap

You should not put wet leather near heat or in the sun to dry. Very bad. Worked in saddle shop for years.

I've seen it mentioned several times that it's ok to to let leather dry in the sun (mostly boots). Does the size of the item matter? Or the thickness of the leather?
