Pete was a little cat, hat, bat on that one.
Blood stained remix
I still throw it in the mix at almost every event and it gets ppl jumping
we all love Shamrock and Shenanigans but to me their best album still remains Same as it ever was. Back from the dead still gives me chills
Yeah, their second album doesn't get the love that it deserves.
Huge House of pain fan big fan of Everlast but Talib Kweli Snapback game is fire bro
I was never a huge fan of his music but I’m definitely a huge fan of his personality.
Everlast looking like poppa smurf
Or Santa Claus
@Motorheadmike because his daughter has cystic fibrosis. So don’t say anything
Love this! Big House of Pain and Everlast fan. 🍀🥊🎤 I was 16 when Jump Around dropped and instantly loved it like everyone else. Still bumping it to get hyped up. And agree the Pete Rock remix and hook is the 💣🎶🎛
Kenny Rogers slick back instead of wings. Looks fresh, clean.
One of the greatest rap recording record. Would have love to see sessions of that recording session.
Please talk to Ed O.G and the Bull Dogs
Proud to Jamaican... we influence so much people and styles of music..
Disco!
True indeed. Toasting before rhyming on the mic. Shout out to the "Ragnumpiza" Dillinger. Kool Herc and his break beats started it all.
Damn I'm old that album dropped when I was a freshman in high school. We still play it .
Judgement Night is in my Top 5 soundtracks of all time largely because of "Just Another Victim".
Helmet and house of pain holy cow I can't believe I forgotten got song that was 1 of my all-time
Funny how everyone has their own favourite of that album. Mine is "Another Body Murdered" by Booya T.R.I.B.E and Faith No More.
One of the greatest remixes and songs ever!!!!! Was in high school!! That collab changed the complexity of hip hop!
For years i thought this guy was dead, somebody once told me that and i kept believing that. Happy he's doing good.
He had some type of life saving heart surgery.
Muggs is heavily Underrated. Dude is on fire right now with the multiple projects he's been releasing these past several years with Roc Marciano, Eto, Meyhem Lauren, The God Fahim, Mach Hommy and CrimeApple.
Thoroughly enjoyed this clip
Jump around!!!!!! Awesome. Never forget the first time hearing it as a kid.
Shout out to anyone that remembers Nel's nightclub in NYC back in the day.
Word..... Nel's had that "french whorehouse" vibe to it.
@@feenfader LMAO
@Mike Mo yup
14th Street next to 2 iis
Nell's is where Biggie filmed Big Poppa...also I believe that's where the TV show "NY Undercover" would film the club scenes at the end of each episode
Muggs is one of the most underrated cats ever! Much love
Bless y’all. Stay healthy.
Looking forward to this one! Much love
This is when I know I'm old when Everlast look like a white grandpa but a legend nothing less and a good reminder how great hip hop could truly be thank God I'm grew up in the 80's and 90's born in the late 70's
The best sports arena beat EVER… this interview was 🔥🔥🔥
I wanna hear his take on the beef with DJ Quik but I don't think Talib may have been aware of that song and beef like that.It was only last year when Quik spoke on it on Quest Love podcast and Danny Boy spoke on it a few years ago but I never heard Everlast speak on it
@@martinvela-sanchez9396 Yeah that's what Danny Boy from House of Pain said but I never heard it specifically from Everlast which he will probably say the same thing. The thing though Quik said it was bcuz what he did or didn't say about Ice T in a magazine and I do remember bcuz I had the issue back in the day.Everlast was real cool with Ice T so they knew they had to have an excuse to just go at a rapper without being just labeled haters.Quik did call Ice T a buster it had nothing to do with Cypress if anything if was Cypress who was backing Everlast bcuz I think they weren't happy at comments Quik was saying either about gang culture then turn around and be banging at his shows.Cypress thought he was a hypocrite so B Real probably was like we'll just use his video as an excuse to why you dissed him referring to Everlast
Bought this Disc new still have it still play it ...........Legend
Come on, drop the whole thang yo. 1st concert I went to was Cypress, HOP & Funkdoobiest.
They always drop the full interview on Mondays U.S time. I live in the U.K, so I haven't a clue, if it is day or night-time!
My daughter LOVES this song! She's only 3..timeless
You're a truly loving parent❤
Talib please give BG Knockout a call and bring him in for an interview! Talk more about the behind the scene in making Real Muthaphuckkin G and the Ruthless vs Death Row feud.
Watching my parents, in their 70s, Jump Around like kids at a Badgers game is the coolest thing ever! ❤️
Everlast still got style🔥
Honestly ! Besides jump around , House Of Pain are One of the most underated groups in Hip Hop.
"Jump Around" was massive in Ireland when it came out and it still is due to the House of Pain's Irish connection☘ It was such a huge track that some bars and clubs tried to ban D.Js from playing it because it sent the crowd so wild jumping everywhere and throwing their drinks in the air and causing general mayhem, it was insane😂
I always wondered if they even heard of HOP in Ireland. Thanks for that
We love your music and we love your work as Santa Everlast ❤
I kept asking and commenting and y’all listened peace and respect!!! Now if somehow someway you could get Son Doobie in the people’s party that would be another legendary interview... all things you could talk about from the early funkdoobiest days to his porn career/Radio career to his time in Canada with Battle Axe records. Please Talib try and make that happen please. Peace love and Hip Hop
Yeah Sondoobie next!!! PLEASE!!!
For sure
I would love to hear that interview too - good call
That Pete Rock story was great!
