I would recommend adjusting the HP gun's nozzle tip to angle the spray vertically rather than horizontally. Many customers prefer to spray left to right. If you haven't already, you can get a titration kit from your chemical manufacturer to fine tune the chemicals to come out at the right strength.

I was getting the same feedback from customers about the tips and got them changed.

I understand what you are saying about the trash cans, but imho that's just asking for people to either A) put their trash on the ground, B) pile it up next to the vacuums on the cement things, or C) try to suck everything up with the vacuum and clog them up.

Things are looking great! Few minor adjustments but par for the course! Suggestion, maybe add a few more trash cans near the vacuums because believe it or not but some people will leave their trash on the ground or some where on the property if they don’t see a trash can near by. Keep plugging away but again very impressed!!

Good video and cool car wash. I definitely think you should put trash cans by the vaccums. That's one of the big perks of going to a car wash and using the vacuums is so you can truly clean the car out.
And even with the "Now Open" sign out front, I think the fence is gong to deter new customers.
I think dying run down businesses are going to do great with the new generation of owners. I wish you the best.

Make sure you put a 4” opening cover over the garbage can with a lock. They will get abused. I get people trying to dump home garbage and cardboard all the time.

@@ryancross1905 correct padlock lid and cut hole in lid. I manage a car wash that does about 100k cars a year. We do exactly what you said to do.

You might as well put the garbage cans by the vacuums, because that's where you want customers to use them. They will either park in the bays to clean out their trash or they'll drag them to their car by the vacuum.

    • @therevestor
      @therevestor  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

Good point. I am making some containers to put them in and place them by the vacuums.

Wow, nice job on the rehab, good luck from a fellow wash operator. The garbage cans next to the building could be a fire hazard if someone should put a cigarette butt in there so be careful with that. Are you using KR for your soap? I was thinking about giving them a try, please let me know how you like it. Again congrats, everything looks on point.👍

Hey Man. The place looks amazing. I was wondering if you can do me a huge favor and show me how do you have your foam brush set up. The car wash that I have taken over management of, the foam brushes are not producing any foam. Not sure why. Everything was pretty much rigged up so I would love to see detail photos/videos of your set up. I would greatly appreciate it! Keep up the good work!!

Honestly I would add the dog wash it will make yours pops and also add the automatic wash and than have a air compressor for tires as well.

In renovating your wash, did you have any challenges with getting financing? I ask because I just had to pass on a SS wash location because the bank said they won't loan out money to buy the land or new equipment, etc, since the wash that's there now is so run down and has no positive cash flow. This is my first wash too so that plays into it as well. Just wondering being a guy yourself who renovated a non functioning wash, as to how you did it? Thanks, and keep the wash videos coming too as it's exciting to see your progress.

Money will always be an issue when investing but there are many solutions. Use personal loans, 0% intro credit cards, friends & family, lease instead of purchase, partner (sweat equity). Get creative to get started.

About to close on out first 6 bay self-service wash in 4 days. We went with a bank that offers SBA 7a loan to fund the real estate and business purchase. However, I don't know if they will approve one that is run down with no positive net incomes.

Garbage cans need to be at the vacuums, A BIG part of your service is giving people a place to empty their rubbish, you want to be the best, so be the best.
Also if you don't people will just throwing it on the ground.
Rubbish removal is now your business.
