This video definitely helped. I got the challenge completed in the second round. The blue orbs can sometimes give you only ability options that won't increase the power of your attacks, which is the only reason I didn't get it on first try.

I got the 5x,10x and the perk that says that it does more damage with close combat attacks and the highest I got was 6,000 what a joke I quit
Edit: I was going for the knife one

The sniper is what got it for me (It is crazy high damage)
