This was recorded at the late, legendary Gold Star Studio, home base of Phil Spector (southeast corner of Santa Monica & LaBrea) with a mic placed outside the front door. Byron Berline plays the great fiddle.
Love your reactions. 2nd Album into the greatest ever album streak ever. Beggars Banquet through till Exile on Main Street, perhaps even Goats Head Soup. Incredible!
This album taught me about the existence of great deep cuts on great albums by the great bands. I couldn't believe how wonderful it all was when I first heard it. Live With Me was just so Stonesy to me when I heard it, kind of prototypical for me.
Amen. My first Stones album was Hot Rocks, the greatest hits 1964-1971 LP, bought when I was 17. I bought Let It Bleed about a month later and had the same listening experience. "Live With Me" is still in my top 5 tunes, never get tired of it. It's the perfect tune for any good roadhouse or bar band...if you have a good sax player.
Just a fu..in` one of their greatest albums and also the shown live performance. Thanks for sharing to you busy two nice people and greets from hamburg / germany to you and of course also @all of you - listeners out there ;-))
Sticky Fingers is another great Stones album. It's my favorite studio album by them Let it Bleed is number 2 for me. And live Get your ya yas out is the greatest live album by the Stones in my opinion.
So awesome! Totally loving this journey through what might be the quintessential Rolling Stones album. Can’t wait for your reaction to the rest of this all-time classic record!
Keith Richards bass and guitars on Live With Me. It’s a Keith album. Brian was out of the band and Taylor not there yet. Richards played all guitars on the album except 2 tracks which has Mick Taylor overdub some guitar including acoustic guitar on Country Honk

See this is how you incorporate sax into a song without making it sound lame, still keeping the same punky energy throughout! Love it!
So many great stones albums..I’m 73 and had all of them..try 12x5,Rolling Stones now, sticky fingers to name a few

This album has the best lyrics of all the Stones albums.

Used to play Live With Me for my girlfriend all the time. Been married now 47 years.

The Stones are so slick and grimy, what's not to like?
Christina kissed Keith and it made her stoned for a week or so.
