    Hey, bro, nice job! It looks like you used regular bindings, how is that possible? I thought only splitboard bindings are compatible with voile.. advice PLS

      Hi mate,
      Yes you can use regular bindings because on Voile sliding plates are holes for bolts and nuts for bindings, same like holes with tread on snowboard.

    How critical is to cut the snowboard in half perfectly, without any gaps or deviations from the cut line? I have a table saw, but even with that it's not 100% guarantee of a perfect cut.

      @MartinVetro  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, i was cutting it with skillsaw but on end of one side i did gap. I think that on table saw you could be better :) But everything deppend on your skill.

      It is really good to sand it flat after the cut.. On the machine, if possible..

      OK, I looked at a real splitboard and realized that this DIY splitboard does not have a metal edge (on the cut side) like a ski (or real splitboard) has on both sides. If you ever going to be traversing icy slopes/bumps/ruts/etc, this is gonna be a problem as you won't be able to hold an edge properly. Also, the core is now exposed, so I assume the board will get destroyed over time from water getting into the core.

      @@vitaminb4869 You can do also inside edge,i made it on myone but i didn´t made video from that. And yes without inside edges could be problem but about that water if you gonna be caring about cutted side of snowboard, you dont need to be worried about destroying of board.

    How do you find skinning up with your regular bindings? Do your high backs adjust with negative high back angle? Just wondering if I have to buy other bindings... although I can't seem to find regular bindings that would allow for that

    Ahoj, mozem sa opytat kde si zohnal equip na to a ako si s vysledkom spokojny? Mam v plane skusit to so starou doskou, len si nie som isty ci za to stoji, ci neist rovno do novej. Myslis ze ked to raz namontujes moze to byt pouzitelne aj na inu dosku? dik a chvalim pracu 👍

      Ahoj Andrej, Voile kit som objednaval z francuzkej stranky ale už neviem jej názov, keď budeš hľadať VOILE kit tak to najdeš a ano splitboard funguje ako ma použil som ho na šlapanie iba parkrát ale všetko bolo ok a pojazdil som som snim aj zjazdovky a všetko v poriadku :) Ak sa ti podarí zohnať dosku za dobru cenu tak chod do novej ale ak nie a chces ušetriť tak toto je cesta.
