The taxis destroyed a once functioning bus service. They burnt Putco to the ground. They do not own the road, they don't pay tax, many of their vehicles are not roadworthy, they don't have insurance, they don't tar or repair roads, they have nothing to say.
In Cape Town they even do roadblocks where they stop vehicles and check how many are you in one vehicle if you more than 2 they stop you and tell you to take the other passengers to the taxi rank
@@GlenroseMakgorogo always overstretched, most instance they arrive and they remove them but they do this mainly morning and evening during peak hour and change shift of police
ANC gave the taxi association the the right the time they used them to stop the looting Now they're impowered If we're not careful the security firms will be the next extortion racket
The government has failed the e-hailing services and the minibus/taxi services. They are pitting them against each other. They are fighting over routes now because of this lack of decisiveness and foresight. I don't blame both sides because there is a grey area on both party's operation model
The whole world has moved forward with public transport for their people including many parts of Africa. High speed rail and luxury busses link cities and towns. When is South Africa going to do this? Our buses and trains have been sabotaged and very few still exist. All because gangster taxi owners want to be THE TRANSPORT for the people, more correctly COFFINS transporting the masses. I don't think that there is an hour that goes by without a taxi accident. Zimbabwe I hear is moving away from Mini bus taxis. When is South Africa going to do that.
But you guys act like idiots, why are you showing us the inside of the car, I can make out the type of car, why are using his real voice? If I’m a taxi guy and I want to find this guy I can assure you I will find him, plus the cameras in public etc, you should use safe rooms

Do taxi operators seriously think that a person taking uber and a person taking a mini bus are in the same market?
That’s how stupid these taxi drivers are
Taxi drivers are the biggest criminals
Those Taxi drivers feel they own the country
This is how extortion started in SA
Cele created this mess by enabling taxi bosses to bully everyone.
And that transport minister who wanted to defend the taxis in cape town😂😂😂
In Cape Town Taxi Drivers Are Also Doing It To School Transport Drivers As Well.
South Africa is the only country in the world where taxi associations and drivers own all the public roads 😂😂😂😂
Are the taxi operators the law unto themselves?
Is also happening in Jabulani mall
Taxi bosses are obviously illiterate. Thats not how business works. They must compete
A lot of potholes in the back🐒
And that's balito the most afluent part of town
The afluent is not afluenting😂😂😂
