Thanks. It would seem as if Toyota SA should be investigated for corrupt pricing that it increases so quickly for those vehicles used as taxis because they're so popular..
You know what i do not like the way taxi drivers drive and how they break the law but when they started speaking about the price tag of the quantum and how the price was doubled in a space of 5 years, that broke my heart. These poor taxi drivers are already struggling to make ends meet which attributes to their driving behavior. That is completely wrong and unfair. Quantums complete material cost just under R150,000 so why is it being sold for R500,000 this is ridiculous.
So everyone who is "struggling to make ends meet" is entitled to drive dangerously, inconsiderately and aggressively, and block traffic. Yeah. Right. So you believe that Toyota is a charitable institution that must give away Quantums below cost. Cost including labour, amortisation of the huge investment in plant and facilities, planning and design staff, interest on borrowings, etc etc. Yeah. Right.
@@mikemellor8972 no one should be allowed to break the law but it is very unfortunate that the the price went from R 220 000 in 2009 to R 528 000 in 2022 and the drivers face losing their jobs if they can't bring in enough money but they also caused this price hike when they wanted Toyota to make the car is South Africa because Toyota had to invest the money into building a new factory for the vehicle so even if it was 150k to make the car it has to be more so they can get back their investment I think the government encouraged people to buy the quantum because of safety and the 2010 FIFA world cup

Buses with designated lanes, taxis mixed with regular traffic. Never looked at it like that.

SA taxi stopped other banks from financing taxi's so they can monopolize the finance. The associations were aware and sold out their own people.
Who's here after jake tran video ?
The reason I can't sympathize with this business is the blatant disregard they show for human life on the roads.
Eh lol.

Surely there are competitors Van's they could buy instead
