I've been using the same pair of goodrs for about 3 years now. No issues, still perform like the day they came out of the box. I will say, on the initial pair I purchased from my local fleet feet, the "mirror" coating on one of the lenses, started to wear off about 2 weeks in, but I think it was just a manufacturing defect. I've been wearing glasses and contact lenses most of my life, so I know how to take care of them. I contacted goodr and they sent me a new pair right away. Amazing customer service. Goodr also has a 1 year warranty. Now the detective pair are my cutting the grass/yard work sunglasses. Summer, winter, trails, humidity, they've been awesome. My wife now has a pair and they are equally as good. You covered some great options!
I use Goodr when I wear sunglasses, can't go wrong, got them for under £30 from Up and Running and they don't slip, are very comfortable and do what running sunglasses should do!
I picked up a pair of Oakley portal x sunglasses with the road prism black lens and, honestly, they are just amazing for both running and all round daily use. £70 from sunglass hut on offer. The quality, fit and vision is perfect.
I wear the Goodr ones… I think glasses are a necessity over the fields in the summer - just to protect against the flies. So many times I’ve got hit in the eye, and it hurts for weeks. So now I just always wear them.
Any recommendations for prescription wearers? in the past as I've had Oakleys I'd bought cheap and added the Prescription lenses via Oakley but not cheap and £100 plus just for the lenses. thanks in advance
Great running sunglasses review. Have got the goodr sunglasses but have noticed that the lens is wearing. Tempted to buy another pair for when I am running which doesn't bounce
I brought some Goodr sunglasses because the name “nessys midnight orgy” made me laugh. I’ve found them pretty good, and definitely kept the rays out even when I was up a very sunny snowy mountain.
Great video, sadly Goodr have just put the price of their sunglasses up to £30 but I managed to get a pair on sports shoes direct for £22.50. I only buy cheap sunglasses because I'm always losing or breaking them!!
Obviously this is my opinion about my running choices. It is not implicit or explicit criticism of anyone else's choices! I have some of those cheap reading glasses, the pack of 6 (£19.99)came with 1 pair with tinted lenses. I've run (staggered?) over 100 marathon or + distance. 50ish others (halfs etc) Perhaps it's because I'm old. Perhaps it's because I'm really, really poor!🤔 Cos I've never had cause to say "if only I'd brought some sunglasses to this run!" I'd pay £12.99...at a push... if I was feeling flush (small win on Postcode lottery, whatever) If I went overseas (chances of that approximately 1%) to run in a desert or whatever. £50...100. Jesus wept! I'd have to be attempting to impress a female to pay that much... for anything...even an evening out! 😁

Great video really helpful ordered a pair of the knockarounds great for people with a big head like me😂 well recommended.
I would definitely recommend the Oakley radar advancers, they have the option to sit a couple millimeters away from your face to prevent fogging.
Thanks for the recommendation
Either prices have gone up heaps or we are getting screwed in Australia (after conversion) with the exception of goodr

They sell sunglasses in the UK? Jokes aside, very helpful video! And loving your podcast, no wonder it’s no. 1 in Sri Lanka.
Thanks mate!!
Sungod. Did anyone tested them? I have bought 8KOs and experiencing blue reflection from the light hiting the back of lenses.
They have a lifetime guarantee so send them back
Looking for some running shades actually. Do the Sungod ones have anti slip Chris? and do they sit still on your face when upping the speed?
Not had a prob with them mate
@@FordyRuns Thanks Chris 😎
