I wear the Julbo Outline Reactiv sunglasses. I don't just use them for running, but wear them for everything outside of running too. Fantastic pair of sunglasses in my opinion. They are expensive, but they are very practical for use in the car or casual wear.
Julbo make a really solid pair of sunglasses, I've been really impressed with them 👌 Glad you are enjoying yours to and thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏😎
been running in goodr's for about a year now and absolutely love them. I've had them in all of our upstate New York state weather and just a fabulous performer. In addition, my original pair must've had a defect in the scratch resistant coating, the tint started to "rub off" just by storing them in the pouch they came in. I contacted goodr and the nice flamingo over nighted me a brand new pair, no questions asked. Great product and awesome customer service. I'll be buying more pairs for sure. I might even give those ronhill's a shot.
That's great to hear about their customer service Robert 👍 Really glad you're enjoying your glasses and thanks for watching the channel it's really appreciated 🙏😎
I have the Julbo and Oakley and Caz my wife has goodr!! Fraction of the price and she loves them. I have the Julbo with reactive lenses which are brilliant for changeable or low light conditions but still fancy a pair of Goodr. Great to see you back Loyd :)
Thanks Pat, it's good to be back! 😊I've been really impressed with the Julbo glasses, excellent quality and really comfortable to wear. You really can't beat the Goodr glasses when it comes to great value though. Thanks for watching and supporting the channel its really appreciated as always 🙏😊
Hey buddy loving your channel. Just finished watching your serpant trail vlogs. Really felt for u on the second run lol, I'm running the 50k this year. Great review on the glasses. Was torn between goodr and sungods. Think I'm gonna give the goodr a go.
Awesome Jake, thanks for watching! It was a tough run last time but that can happen when you're running the longer stuff, you've just got to dig in and get to the finish 😊 You'll love the event it's brilliant and hopefully we'll see you up there 🏃♂️ Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏
The Goodr sunglasses are great value for money Nik 👍 Hope your are enjoying the ones you got and thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏
Thanks very much I'm glad you enjoyed the review. Yeap the Sungods look great, Infact I almost got some for the review but I'd spent to much money on sunglasses already 😂 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏😎
As usual great review, short and direct to the point. Liked how you integrated the fog/sweat issues and brightness versus UV protection in your review. I've been doing trails in Oakley Radar EV Path, thou still expensive, but the nose grip, wide, no blind spots, no fog issues, hard + soft covers and lenses are just great in all conditions (I run in forests in France so brightness changes drastically at some points). The Prizm lenses allow edge enhancements, something new to me but you can notice that the track, roots, rocks, branches... have a more apparent and enhanced texture so you can better anticipate your steps. I would say if you have the money, you can check them out, you will get your money worth. Thanks to your review, I have ordered a goodr! You just got me hooked :)
Thanks Naim, really glad you enjoyed the video 😊 The Oakley Radars do look great and Oakley lense are super good quality but pretty expensive like you said! 😲 I would be worried about wearing them at that price. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 😎🙏
I tend to use my riding glasses for running, a collection of Rudy Project, Bolle and Oakley. My go to pair are some Oakley EV Radar Photochromics, they can get a bit foggy in the early AM but they are ok. Keen to try the SunGod brand, they have good custom options and are a British brand. TBH though, compared to riding and surf trips, I don't wear glasses anywhere near as much when running. I prefer a hat. (probably because I have little hair up top and don't want to get burnt!)
The Oakley EV Radars look great but they're pretty expensive! 😲 I almost got a pair of the Sungods to review but I ran out of money 😂 I've heard good things about their sunglasses from viewers. Thanks for watching Ian it's appreciated 🙏😎
Nice one Lloyd, good timing for me. I had a decent pair I got off Amazon for £20, polarised lenses and came with a hard case, soft case and cleaning cloth. Unfortunately I sat on them a few weeks ago! Been looking at the Goodr so think I'll deffo get some now. I think sunglasses is definitely something where you don't always get what you pay for. I'd never pay £100 for a pair because they so often get lost or broken and I don't think they're worth the extra money. I even had a pair of prescription sunglasses stolen from a church once!
Glad you enjoyed the video 😊 I'm the same, I'm always breaking them or losing them! At £25 I'm much more likely to use them and they've performed really well 👍 Thanks for watching and supporting the channel its appreciated 🙏
Also, just as a thought; with the bad weather on the horizon maybe do a video or a series on just useful stuff for inclement weather. Running gloves, waterproofs, hats. You name it.
It's already being planned 👍 We've got headtorch reviews, waterproof jacket reviews and lots more heading your way as we approach winter 🥶 Thanks for watching and supporting the channel 🙏
Hi Loyd. Can you clarify the model of Julbo sunglasses you have there please. They don't look like the Ultimates as far as I can tell - the Ultimate ones you've linked to seem to have a frame across the top of the lens. The ones you have look more like the Aerospeed although I can't see that colourway on Julbo's website.
I think we've linked the wrong glasses Sam. The ones I reviewed are the Aerospeed but I think they're an old colour way 👍 Hope this helps and thanks for watching the channel 🙏
I have the Goodr and agree cheap and awesome value. But they fogged up in great ocean road marathon and I ended up holding them in my hand the last 10km which was annoying.
Mine have been good up to now when it comes to fogging up Joel. Obviously a lot of that comes down to weather conditions and sometimes it can't be helped 🤔 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏
The Julbo glasses have really impressed me to Grant. I'll have to check out the renegades and see what they look like 😎 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏
🇨🇵 Julbo 🇨🇵 French company based in Jura 😉 thx for the review Loyd...i’m not sure that we can find the winners in France and for that nice price 🧐...👏👏👏👍😄
Oakley should be bothered at the quality Goodr offers for $25. Nothing good can happen for Oakley if someone does a side by side shoot out and looks at the price tags.
That's great Dimitris, I haven't seen the "see you in hell" edition but they sound interesting! 👺😂 Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏
To right Stuart! 👌 I know it's crazy that for that kind of money you don't get a hard case to protect them!? Thanks for watching and supporting the channel mate 🙏😎
@@Run4Adventure The frames are still perfect but the coating on the lenses is wearing off and now I can't see clearly with them. I took care of them, always putting them back in the baggie.
I've not had that issue with them, the lense have performed really well 👍 Sorry to hear they didn't work for you! Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment it's appreciated 🙏

I'm glad you found it useful Mark and thanks for watching 🙏
Goodr are definitely worth a try that's for sure 😊

Goes to show that you don't need to pay the earth to get good glasses. The fact that glasses costing close to £100 don't come with a hard case is 🤯

Goodr out last one year them the lenses are ruined.
I've only had mine for a couple of months so it'll be interesting to see how durable they are 👍

@@scott_strool That's a real shame, have you tried contacting Goodr? They might be able to help you 👍
I personally think the Goodrs are rubbish... Light reflects off the inside of the lense... Useless!!!
