I do like warhall's battle report graphics. Good commentary too. Thanks for uploading. Would I ever want to play against this list? Definitely not! Lol.
@@CloseOrder but you have to cast it, that cost hin the game just pay 25 points more and be nearly invincable. To cast Fury of Khain on a bad unit ist not really a game plan, sry
The Slaan is a non-optimal unit, so I'm not really sure why you're so focused on the Lore/Upgrades. Lizardmen players need to experiment, because the lists they're currently playing are not genuine tournament contenders. Do I think there's a GT winning Lizardmen list in that book? No not really, but maybe I'm wrong.
@@CloseOrder Thee Slaan is a Centerpiece in a good list. Its leadership 9, being the general and BSB with an 18 inch aura is absolutely awesome. Then it's a large level 4 caster, that can be protected by a unit. Its points denial is fantastic being ethereal.
Nice but it’s not exactly what you think of when you think of Empire is it. Just like Warriors of Chaos in Warriors and Orc Warriors in Warriors of Chaos. Hopefully this’ll get fixed soon and we’ll see proper armies again.
Sry dont be offended guys, but i have seen not a single good Lizardmen player on TH-cam. Not giving the Slaan ethereal but trying to compensate via high magic is so bad ...just pay the 25 points more and you have free reign with your magic. Ripperdactyls are so bad, and you need the bad skink heros to field them! The rest of the list is absolutly fine, but your Slaan and skinks aalone could have ripped your outriders apart...
Toby was definitely trying something fun, and I think the Ripperdactyls have a surprising amount of play having been on the receiving end of them. Buying Ethereal for the Slaan is not the out and out best option, because the majority of ranged damage in the game comes from Magic Missiles. A Slaan dies to a couple of Fireballs - which is super easy to line up into it since it's a large target!
Well, you're 0 for 3 there champ. You're allowed to prefer to play the game in certain ways, but I'd recommend doing it in a positive way by showcasing your own diverse lists instead of going for the 0 effort option and just ragging on someone.
Thanks! Really enjoy your Empire stuffs lately.
Thank you very much!
Glad you're enjoying, I'm sure there will be more Empire in the future!
Ripperdactyls man. Ripperdactyls.
Me am word good
Who would have thought that shooting 40 machine guns at lizards would hurt them? 🦎
Stoopid lizards looking at me 🔫
Famous last words of Chihuahua the cocky Slann "Do I need temple guard to protect me? Nah, I'm ok, I can take it."
Liked this. As a tactical overview this format works nicely.

That's fair! I don't think it's stronger than the good lists in the game currently, but it is a slippery bugger to pin down
Ripperdactyls. Not Razordons ;) Was very confused the first few times you said that 🤣
Loved the week of Empire content! I feel ready to face the new Empire lists now.
Magic missiles are quite magical, but gunpowder is also quite magical in its own way
I messed this up a lot before too, but the blunderbuss cannot stand and shoot as it has cumbersome. So the champ can use his pistol
Oh, good spot!
That's probably for the best
Great battle report!! Need to take on the empire soon!
Nice to see you test this out so soon! 💂♂️💂♂️💂♂️
I was enthused after that night!
Cool 40K army. I've loved empire week. Looking forward to some warhammer fantasy content in future ❤
You say you rolled an 8 when trying to rally your outriders, that should have been a success since you have a musician.
Must have been one more, because you're absolutely right!
Slaan without ethereal? High magic? The ring not on the large Monster? Skink heros? Ripperdactyls? Well thats a challenge...
You get Ethereal from High Magic, and it's the use Fury of Khaine on the Ripperdactyls
@CloseOrder worked well for him

shouldnt the outriders rally on an 8 because of the musician?
You're right, must have a rolled a 9

Why don't you have a witch hunter to give an outriders unit magical attacks
I do have one!

@@CloseOrder thats why you bring temple guard, there is a lot non magical Shooting much more Dangerous than spells
Adding a huge Temple Guard points tax to an already inefficient caster is not a recipe for success unfortunately.
Do the nuln state missile troop detachments count towards your core? I thought detachments don’t count towards it??
Detachments for units in core do count towards the minimum core contribution
Spamming one unit isn't strategy it isn't fun or entertaining
It's not even competetive
