I had a Rottweiler. A dog walker told me he could make her jump up on him. He tried treats, excited voices and waving his hands around. She refused to jump on him. I was so proud of her
Thats awesome to hear..
Very informative especially recognising the pre jump signs!
Thanks Jennifer, glad you found it useful
Really useful especially watching for signs
Thank you, knowing the signs helps you to anticipate what's going to happen.
Super helpful
This was really helpful, thank you. And I can tell you really love and respect dogs. 💪🏻🐶
You are so welcome!
Excellent content. Kudos.
Thank you much appreciated :)
our dog is BIG and she's 2 and LOVES to jump and is annoying
I really struggle when visitors come into the house, one of my dogs is a cockerpoo, 10 months and a tiny poodle mix who is 2. I have young kids visiting and I don’t want them jumping. I’ll practice more with them
Practice heaps you will get there
Problem happens when she is not on leash and jumps?!?
Best to keep on leash while training
I don’t know how to do this alone you have someone there helping I’m alone I can’t train her to sit and not jump on me. How do you do it when you’re alone and the dog jumps on you I keep kicking her in the chest with my knees like people tell me it does not work. She’s a German Shepherd. She’s a year old and she will not stop, she she’s hurt me several times with her aggressive jumping
Try throwing some treats on the ground to get their attention off you and on to something else, once they have calmed down a bit you should be able to get them to sit.. Let me know how you go..
Could you use a tieback?
No Caesar !
Spot on 🤗
