I'm growing my hair out for the simple reason that I want to enjoy it while I still have it. One day it will no longer be the way it is today so I want to take advantage of this moment. Everything in life passes, we need to live how we want.
Sad to see you have to cut the hair, but on the bright side as you become an adult you might be able to grow it back again, maybe even longer than before.

All good mate. As I said, you can try it again once your current duties are over . Maybe then you won't have to hide your hair anymore. There's nothing wrong about growing hair. Schools don't allow due to dress code restrictions. Don't ever think of this as a bad experience.

Tbh I’m a boy that’s nit had the hair cut since 2014 and I love my long hair, I couldn’t imagine having ti cut all my hair off 😢
