My favourite is Warden, they have pretty good heal, and self-heal, skills, but also rather good damage. Combining it with destruction staff skills and they deal a good deal of damage, combine their heal skills with restoration staff skills and skills from Psijic skill line, well.. I think they work very good overall.. but I also try out all the other classes too. 😄
I chose to main a sorc bc I was worried about my abilities being crimes with my first choice of necromancer. After a long time, I ended up making a necromancer anyways and she is now my spirit animal.
If Herma Mora gets his own class the others gotta have one too. A molag bal themed class would be cool, a mephala or sheogorath class would work well I think. Or even just a general ‘Oblivion’ class would be interesting.
100%. The only reason I am turned off of playing an Arcanist is solely on Herma Mora. I can't stand the guy, and I don't enjoy anything that pertains to him
@@neithanturambar2923 tbh i wish warden focused more on the ice theme, or we had a separate ice focused class. Nature magic has never really been my thing but i love ice magic.
Fun should be the only objective in any games really.. that is the point of gaming but esports & sweaty players in general.. well, let's just hope their populace doesn't grow too much
I chose dragonknight because I play 2 handed in skyrim. Amazing damage, sustain & tankiness. Zero range. The combat in ESO is so much better than skyrim. You can actually use spells & weapons together without pausing the game every 2 seconds.
warden, templar and archanist are my favs.. I have others to but these are the most fun for me. Also: Happy New Years Jake! Thanks for alle the great videos!
I'm a necromancer main. I only play the khajiit and I like their view point on necromancy it is just another area of magic. Also cool that in the lore they sell bodys in the city of Rimmen. Hopefully the next elder scrolls game has a even more true feel of a necromancer. The visual color of necromancer skills I also like as well.
I think it should be noted that just about every class can work well in every role if you're dedicated to it, so don't stress to hard about what will be the perfect complement. Same goes with weapons, though obviously pick whatever strikes that balance of good feeling vs good utility. ESO does a great job of making most builds viable all the way up to veteran content, and I see far too few people taking advantage of that fact and instead blindly chasing metas. Play your own way guys, then make a meta build when you NEED one
I have been playing ESO for several years now and always go back to my Nord Templar. However I truly am terrible at pvp and would like to get better at it, but I have no idea how to build for pvp. I am usually a solo player! I enjoy your clips!! They are very informative!!
Dragonknight, Necromancer, Nightblade, Sorcerer, and Arcanist, for me been like that for awhile especially DragonKnight first class i first started with way back then love it 👍🏾
My main is a sorc but now got vamp nightblade champion too, and building up templar and arcanist to cp... was working on my first dragon knight tank before computer broke, was fun. A little heartbroken it broke the week before xmas so missed all the New Life etc.... hoping there will be a way to catch up on my last two keys for the house.
Necro just feels so good. That AoE corpse drain? Free transformation? Oppenheimer's Monster? Triple hipshot rez? Badass boneh armor? I mean, this class just hardly misses. Sure, a little mobility would be nice, but someone's gotta revive y'all when the rest of the group dies from fall damage.
I play a Dragonknight. I started with a Templar and have tried out Sorcerer, Nightblade, and Warden. However, the Dragonknight is such a natural fit to my play style that the class feels like it was specially designed for me. I haven’t tried out the Necromancer or Arcanist yet. I don’t really see any need now that I have my Dragonknight.
I've been trying to look for the class that'll let me play like a battlemage, where I'm wielding swords but can fling magic at the enemy as well. For years i mained a templar, but have also tried sorcerer, dk, nightblade, and warden, each having their own unique way of play. I've started an arcanist but just cant seem to get into it (level 8). Lately I've found myself on the quest to looking for another class other than templar - i like their light theme, but they seem dependent on either morph of jabs. I've used rapid strikes to some success, sometimes wrecking blow, but sometimes i feel like I'm missing something. All of that to ask: anyone else like playing a battlemage type, and if so, how do you do it in ESO? I'm curious!
That was quick! Thanks! I know I've done the crafty alfiq magsorc using a sword build, which is fun, but can't say I've tried going all in on stam sorc...which definitely makes sense...good point! I did start playing around with scribing on my stamsorc, especially physical wield soul with sorc class mastery...this is sounding like good potential! Thanks for the suggestion! I'm always open to ideas😊
@@Official_JakeClips Those both sound fun! I do like the rhythm you get into using wrecking blow, but I also like dual wield's rapid strikes...decisions decisions, haha! Looking at sorc's passive for increase to physical & shock damage, it makes perfect sense as a battlemage. Thanks, Jake!!
I have every class levelled except sorc and arcanist. Levelling arcanist was actually when I quit the game. I obviously liked the game a lot to play it so much but my biggest gripes were the combat/combat animations and the "every class can play every role" game design.
There is also the ease/difficulty of use to consider. The learning curve on Arcanist is very forgiving and the rotation is about as simple as a Templar's. Managing Crux sounds a lot more complicated than it is. I find Necromancer and Nightblade the most rewarding to play but those also require complex rotations for similar/same damage output as an easier class and a lot of people feel discouraged when they struggle to break 50k DPS (whereas an Arcanist can hit 50k no sweat) But beginning with an easy class won't necessarily the best class for a beginner. The video's chart at the end is great, I wish the in-game descriptions were as helpful
They tried to do too much with the Warden. They could have made 2 seperate classes like an animal power / summoning class and an element / nature class.
Which class do u recommend for the best summoner type? I usually play necromancer in most fantasy rpg like Diablo or in gw2. But I did try necro in eso, and it may have the theme. But doesn’t feel like a summoner type like any other necros in the games. Plus the summons doesn’t seem to last. I guess it bc the summons are not permanent 🤔
Sorcerer has permanent summoned demon pets and Wardens have a permanent(?) bear. I main a templar so I don't know much more than that. There are also human companions on the game that you can command to some degree, as in press Y + mouse for them to go atack a target.
Thank u so much for this video Jake; right in time since I want to kill my warden and am now leaning towards a sorcerer instead. I first thought of going with a necromancer, but now decided sorcerer seems a better fit 4 me. Only downside is I have to start from scratch with it 😞😞 Luckily I also have a templar which I totally adore 🙂
I main a sorc on which I finished all narrative content in the game. Can survive everything. I keep trying to pull a role play Khajit arcanist but I just can't level him up.
im very happy with my arcanist main^^ i dont even need the ring of fast run, because i can kill the mobs so fast it almost doesnt slow me XD i use that ring for my necro alt^^
I like warden and dk the most. I tend to lean towards a tank playstyle and both of them are very good at that. Prefer dk for just overland exploration though because the class abilities are more snappy then the warden but my warden is my main for pvp because of its burst setups. Nb, sorc, and necro never worked for me. Arcanist and templar are honestly very easy to get into and are fun to play but I still prefer the combat styles of dk and warden.

Vampire Goblin Main. all jokes aside vampires have a worthy spammable in PVE, tank utility drain, and teleport. Dragonknight and Nightblade are my favs to use vamp with.
technically sorcs are also very warlock oriented, because they're literal daedric summoners also, arcanist is really good to play in pvp, because no matter how many people bang their shields over your head the .5 second of uninterrupted lag kamehameha equals 12k damage also wardens for some reason can only call upon morrowind creatures and do kyne ice magic so if you want to play literally anything outside of the pact it's kind of weird aesthetically templar is also kind of thematically fitting to play as a meridia or almalexia simp, or even like a hist speaker type if you want more options than "strendarr priest"
Hmm, Played for years now, have alts of every class, so what's the best?. Sorcerer's, dragon nights , knight blades, all classes, or even Arcanist. All are great, or have been at one time, until the mighty ZOS nerth hammer hits down, then Necromancer that was the best class to have is now the worst. Simple economics. Bring out an new class, make it overpowered so everyone buys it; next year lets bring out another new class that it over powered and nerf the last one out of existence, so everyone buys the new one. Lets be honest, this game is not community driven, it is corporate and share holder driven. As long as this game makes them money, it will exist. They can kill this game at anytime they want, because we all signed up to their terms and conditions. You agree to the terms, or you don't play So never mind, I have spent more money on this game, than any other, they will strip me access to this game if I say boo to the wrong person that takes offence.
#1- Don't comment about nerfs or balancing, you obviously don't understand how they work. #2- Yes. Every single game is driven by money, that's how the economy works. Again, don't comment on what you don't understand. #3- Yes. Every single thing you do/use has a TOS or EULA associated with it, to protect you from them, them from you and everyone else from you. Again, don't comment, etc. #4- So then obvious thing to do is to not be a dick. Pretty easy. Again, etc. I hope you learn from this and become a better and more intelligent person. Because if you don't, at some point life is going to hit you so hard you won't recover.
