For the interpretation I really love the Brazilian one, and the castilian spanish one too. They are the most "teenage" sounds like for me! The little "voice crack" of the Brazilian Moana is pure gold for me it looks so real lol And I love our French Cerise too ❤️ she has a kind teenage sounds like too ☺️
3:18 I remember being SO disappointed with the German voice for Moana. It was some girl from The Voice and I always thought hers was not strong enough at all. I’ve never put on the German soundtrack again lol
I honestly didn’t think Arabic would be this good, and I am impressed by the animation cuz it matched the way we pronounce “I am Moana” in Arabic so perfectly.. it matched it even better that the english version 👌🏼
Many of these are too mix-y (in order to hit the note more comfortably) but by losing chest voice it loses the emotional quality of shouting "I am Moana" it just sounds hollow, which makes me sad
Stop having unreasonable requirements from singers. This note is too high for a pure chest voice, all of the singers are mixing and those that sound more open are just using a wider vowel. There just ain't no way you're belting this note in lower register phonation, hell even Idina Menzel's chest voice tops at C#5 most days and she's known for her ability to push😅
@@kyriakosgrammatikos727 of course it is too high for pure chest, that doesn't mean that you can't work on the way you mix it to match the emotion of the phrase in order to enhance the performance. It is hard, but it's not like i think they are bad singers.
@@kyriakosgrammatikos727 Totally agree with you. Most women passagio from chest to mix starts at C5, so for the majority of singers, no way singing D5 in pure chest voice.
@@luisfilipe2878 Most women are in chest mix starting at A4-Bb4. B4-C5 is pushing it and a lot of female singers report a switch around that area. It's the equivalent of the male passaggio area, only it is about a 3rd-4th higher. If you notice what contemporary male singers do to delay the transition from chest to head is to use a lot of tension in the bottom part of the tongue, which delays the transition to about Ab4-A4. Female singers like Idina Menzel can use similar strategies to extend up to C#5-D5.
If you know how to properly mix it. Like SoHyang. Then it is not that high. I think that few of these vocalists mix the D5. I am not bashing on anyone. These are all impressive af but ot is more sustainable if you mix it. And it sounds better.
@@caballerohidalgosantiago3604 Actually none of them are mixing, I didn't hear them all, but I heard most and their just belting in their chest voice and...I the note could be SLIGHTLY high for some Altos but no, it is a kinda low note for mixing, even tho you can still mix it, but it would definitely sound better in chest voice, which also should feel comfortable since that's why you develop a belting technique (in chest) But I also noticed that a concerning number of the singers where having constriction problems and high larynxes, sadly most of them aren't that used to sing high in their chest voice
@@elgermishodrigue9733 yeah you are right. The technique was good but the high larynxes was not good. Yet still, I Think tjat SoHyang and couple others may have added a little bit of head voice. What is incredible, is even though you r hearing the same thing over and over, it sounds different because of the different languages

Any Gabrielly, who does the Brazilian Moana, was 14 (if I am not wrong) when she recorded it. That's why it sound like a teenager!

ANY GABRIELLY'S VOICE IN BRAZILIAN PORTUGUESE I LOVE HER SO MUCH
I wish the Māori (indigenous New Zealand) version was included in this video 😭
Ikr idk why they didn’t include it because Māori is literally one of the cultures Moana is based on I’m pretty sure
Of course I was waiting for this
Please make a multilingual version of into The unknown
Wow aside from sohyang.
The Russian singer impressed me sksks
😍😍😍 Thank you for the video
