- Re-upload because the previous one had some typos. I've corrected the ones I could spot because they where in languages I could understand or the English translation. There might be more in the lyrics of other languages, let me know and I'll correct them in the next update of this multi. Okay now, some things about this video:
- Instrumental used at the beginning by NikosV2: • Video
- All the lyrics and translations I took are copied just the way they were in the sources I looked. All of them are taken from videos or comments in videos (except Castilian Spanish, Catalan, English, French and Latin Spanish, which I translated myself from the lyrics). The only changes I made were grammar and stuff like that and only in one or two versions. Also I changed a word in the Arabic lyrics with Zayed's help (he goes by "Introvert and Proud" here on TH-cam).
- Hindi and Korean scripts look hideous, I know and I'm sorry. My editor doesn't support those alphabets for some reasons, and I had to make transparent pictures out of the lyrics (which, as you can see, is not the best of my talents). I just wanted to include the lyrics with the proper alphabet as I did with all the other versions that have an script other than the latin one.
- Kazakh lines are that long because that's the way they were in the comment I took them from, and I didn't know how to cut them.
- I couldn't find Lithuanian or Persian Soren lyrics.
- I'll update this video once again once we have the Maori version (and hopefully Tahitian too, but I'm losing all hopes of having that full dub)

No, really. That's why she's named Vaiana in Europe. There's a porn star in Italy named Moana, and Disney didn't want the public thinking they were making a porno. So, they changed Moana's name to Vaiana in Italy, but due to European copyright laws, all members of the EU had to market the film as "Vaiana". Even the United Kingdom, meaning the English cast had to do two dubs: one for America, Canada, and Australia where she's called Moana, and the other for Britain, British territories, and English-speaking theaters in Europe where she's called Vaiana (look closely, they didn't even bother changing the lip flaps for the European version). I cannot begin to imagine how much of a nightmare that was for everyone involved.

I found this video very useful for mannerisms. At first, I thought each languages has different mannerisms but then I realized it was that way because it was localized to fit the rhythm while keeping the same/similar message. I think the way of speaking is very important for characters, and this video is very useful. Some languages in this video seems to have more of the technical and meticulous side, while some others are more spiritual and artistic. Some are more clear while some are in riddles. Some have past tense while others has the future and/or present. I really like the differences in speech delivery.
My only complaint is that about one or two languages are missing subtitles. But regardless, they're beautiful.
