I always get bummed out when I have to go back to work on the last day of a trip too. That feeling of "why does this have to end?!" Thanks for the vlog!
Tasks. I didn’t realize how much cool stuff was there. Last I drove through it was all cornfields but I was on the interstate going from Wyoming straight to Omaha.
Your Buick reminds me of my first car..64 Buick Skylark 2 door. Originally came with a V6 that was bad..so my Dad had the 300 V8 from his 65 Buick LeSabre put in. Unfortunately I couldn't wait to trade it for a 68 Camaro..that I didn't keep for long as I couldn't afford to drive it. Really wish I'd kept that 64 Skylark..still remember it fondly 40+ years ago. I'm in a E350 Ford van with a high top..been living in it for 8 years so far..but if I get another rig it'll definitely be a box van 😁👍
Before your videos I thought NE was one big flat cornfield. I'd only visited my cousin in SW corner of NE. Love the videos and your style.. Really pulling for you to live your dream in the van with Kitty Poops.
Omg i still want to get another pair of indian moccasins in a diy kit. I got a pair back in high school 1993. I loved them. They are so comfortable. I wore mine till they fell apart. My dream was to own a tiny house or a vw bus and to travel the states. I often picture it still. But its a dream. Thats all it is. I dont have a license anymore. I have a state id. No money. I havent worked in 3 going on 4 years. Im an amazon employee. But i have degenerative disc disease. My L4 is herniated and pinching the nerve to my left leg and my S1 is arthritic. Im unable to sit in a chair, or stand longer than 30 mins at a time. So youtube is my go to to keep me entertained. And let the youtubers i watch do the traveling for me. 😊
Another great video i would love to be able to do what you do as a handyman with the van and be able to travel to out of the way places and find relief and peace at these places to recharge and enjoy nature and find out interesting stories about what has happened in the past thanks again for this series and bringing us along for the ride looking forward to your continuing van build and your adventures with it til you can pay it off and then really travel to other places of the country Kraig from Washington State
I’ve never understood how people are happy just going to work everyday either. My stepfather is one of them. Great man but retired from a job with perfect attendance over like 20 years. Couldn’t even make it 2 months and he went back to work at another job. No real desire to travel or homestead or anything for a different kind of life. He just likes to work.
As far as reproducing, we are on a decline that probably can’t be halted.. we are way below replacement level, meaning as we age out, there probably won’t be people to take care of us in old age. Japan is on an even faster decline, in 40 years, there population will be 1/3 of what it is today. Without people, there is no society. The saying “The children are the future” is completely accurate.
Love your philosophy. Thanks so much for sharing your trip! The drive would be better with a friend! 😊
It must be fantastic to go on horse up there, and the native shop ,thank you for sharing 😊😊😊
Awesome video. So nice to see this part of the country.
