From reading all of the comments I've realised that so many people don't get sarcasm, or actual comedy. I feel like there's two sides of comedy now: really funny films that are all linked with the same actors (Superbad, Knocked Up, Pineapple Express, 21 Jump Street & This Is The End) that have many inside or continuous jokes... and then there's films filled with slapstick and a couple of actually funny jokes that are catered to people that have short attention spans. So many people from the latter are clearly watching the wrong video if they think that this video is real.

i like to think michael cera had some fun in these scenes, getting to be the douche and getting on people's bad side, instead of always being pushed around by others.
I remember when they were filming this movie in my neighborhood, the party scene house is down the street and I remembered when the streets were closed and I asked one of the people working on “crew” asked them “what Disney movie are they filming now?” The guy answered me with “Oh no this isn’t Disney, it’s a movie called “SuperBad”!
