Doesn't mimic w deal even more dmg than mimic q or e? It is even more direct and would give you another gap closer in case of a flash etc. So for example eqwr for even more dmg.

He is weak early because he is a melee with lack of range so vs most mid matchups he just gets poked out and can't do anything. And his all in is not enough to kill anyone as you saw. Doesn't mean you can just facetank him or kill him whenever you want, but you can force him to fight on your terms rather than his very easily. See how easy it is for Leblanc to chunk him and retreat without taking any damage in lane? That champ is so trash in lane. It's kind of like how vayne is also weak early because she sucks at Laning. But does that mean if you get into a 1v1 outside of lane with a early game vayne you will win? Nah you'll probably lose. Champs being weak early is more about their weaknesses in Laning not necessarily a 1v1

They should seriously just delete Kassidin's magic damage reduction passive. Literally no reason for him to have that if they refuse to nerf his damage or scaling power, and it's not healthy for the game anyway. "Lets give the champ with one of the best late game kits in the game a way to completely trivialize their weak early game by reducing the damage from champs that would be good at punishing said weak early game.
