Canoe Eureka "La Savonnière" - Summer 2023 - 20230231

(Español mas abajo) Almost reaching the southern summer of 2024, here a summary of images of sailings from the last summer season, setting sail from La Rinconada Sports, Piriápolis Bay, Uruguay.
This Eureka canoe, “La Savonnière”, was designed by Australian DIY light boat guru Michael Storer (storerboatplans.com), and I built it several years ago.
It has the great advantage of being very fun to sail, light, safe, and of course it can be used as a simple canoe, without amas or the sail, ideal in fresh water as our Atlantic lagoons and rivers.

Ya casi llegando al verano austral 2024, aquí un resumen de varias imágenes de navegadas de la temporada estival pasada, saliendo desde La Rinconada Sports, bahía de Piriápolis, Uruguay. (Instagram: playalarinconadasports)
Esta canoa Eureka, La Savonnière, fue diseñada por Michael Storer, gurú australiano de embarcaciones ligeras "Hágalas Usted Mismo".(storerboatplans.com), y la construí hace ya varios años.
Tiene la gran ventaja de ser muy divertida a vela, liviana, segura, y por supuesto se puede usar como canoa común, sin amas (flotadores) ni su vela, ideal en lagunas y ríos.

¿Cómo se compara tu Eureka con tu trika para navegar?

Hola, la canoa Eureka, para ser un diseño de eso, una canoa... es excelente en su performance, incluso con oleaje. Pero el trimarán Trika fue diseñado en origen para la vela (más foque). Es mucho más rápido y reactivo. Con los dos me divierto mucho. La canoa, mas simple de construir, y mas barata que el Trika, mas sofisticado.
