Very good video, you give a good impression of the place and I like your relaxed manner of interviewing. You’re co-presenter, the lady, is great as well. I like the people you interviewed really cool people the ones from Medway and Italy especially. Medway can’t be that bad though lol
I have an aunt and a few cousins in Brighton so I do go down on occasion. I'm not sure I could give any specifics, but I can testify to the great Asian restaurants. And otherwise I've just done all the touristy stuff like going to the beach and what not
Congrats on hitting the 100,000-subscriber mark. I visited Brighton ca. 1990 while I was studying in London, Ealing. We only went for a day and the college only took us to the pier and the Royal Pavilion. My American husband did study in Brighton though!!!!
Looks & sounds like a great place with fab people! ❤ Looking forward to the vintage shops and sausage rolls 🤣 love the folk you interviewed & the relaxed interview style. Well done on the subscribers too btw 👏
We're coming to Brighton for more than 25 years now, at least once each year. A seven hour drive from Germany, but it's worth every minute. Our next trip starts in five days! 🙃
Brighton seems to be a great place to visit - you made me curious. 😃 Actually I'm not so much into big cities but hidden lanes and shops are enticing, I admit. 😅 Oh, and congrats to 100 k subscscribers! Well deserved. 🙂
Thanks Marianne! 🙌🎉 We’re both not into the big cities anymore so Brighton is perfect! You can pretty much walk from the top of town to the beach in 30mins 😁🏖
Congratulations! 🎊 I spent two wonderful years in Brighton, and loved it. I then moved to Berlin, but still miss Brighton. I visited it again recently for a few days, after a long time. There's something magical there. Going to Brighton always feels like going Home. ❤
@@EasyEnglishVideos I like Berlin, but it took me some time to be in tune with it on a deeper level, to understand it, to really appreciate it. Learning German has helped/is helping me greatly, as well as exploring the city, and reading books about it. In some ways Berlin and Brighton share some similarities. They are both vibrant, creative, open-minded, transient, unique. 🙂
Awesome vid, Mitch, Isi! Even the weather put on a good show! 🌞👍 I believe I already commented on this on another one of your vids, but the thing is whenever I listen to that fantastic medieval English tune _Arrival to the Oxford market_ , I can't help but feel like whoever of your ancestors came up with it must have done so on just such a day. 😁 You can look it up here if you're curious about it, just type *English Medieval song 2* , it should be the very first result, the one with a thumbnail of a lady and some guys with animals masks on, dancing and holding hands. 14:23 - What's that building behind you called, Mitch, old mate? It's _beautiful_ ! It's a mosque, right? Big hug from the land of tamales! 🇬🇧🇲🇽
Congrats! I increased my (native) English vocabulary...though I still don't know what whelk is or if I want to try one! Sounds minging! (another word I learned here!)
Congrats to 100k, well deserved! And lovely seeing Brighton, just moved here in January and love it!
Thank you! 💙 How have you been enjoying it so far?
Ah thank you! I also love to go camping, but I've never been camping at the beach. 🏖
I like the background music at the middle so much. It's stunning

Is what behind you specifically when you was at the end of the episode a mosque?
It’s called the Royal Pavilion, a holiday home built for King George, in the style of Indian architecture… it’s now a museum
@@EasyEnglishVideos I love you and how you appreciate your spectators, guys. Have a nice day!

It's the Royal Pavilion, a palace built for King George IV as a seaside retreat in 1787.
Glad you loved the episode! 💙
Isi, look at your accent! Congratulations!
Awww thank you! 😊
I lived in Brighton for a few years and I loved it, I'm living in Spain now and I really miss the life I had there.

Same bad food than in US. Congrats!
Dirty place with overflowing street bins. Rough sleepers in doorways and tents. Far to much graffiti and drug dealers everywhere.
hold the phone..minute 7:29..did I really just see 3 dollar cocktails?!!🥹 well fuck me!🍸
Haha, no you haven't! But they are still "cheap" in that cocktail bar. 🍸
