So it seems even the F-22 can be hit by the Python but its a much much harder thing for the Python missile to pull off, only happened 2 times out of all of those rounds. part of the reason the f-22 is being retired is because theres no room for missiles inboard. and sticking it outboard defeats the purpose of flying the f-22 over the f-15

Try the SU57 Vs the python missile. The felon has DIRCM so it should be interesting as well.

@@jaomircourtar1501 it's Directional Infrared Counter Measures it basically shoots an infrared laser at the missile's seeker head to make the missile go stupid. Surprisingly enough the SU-57 has one.
I doubt that is modeled in DCS.

I love this stuff. The realism of DCS and the experimenting with different aircraft models and in this case, missile profiles... It's as interesting as it is fun. I can't wait to get myself into this game. It replicates my dreams of driving a fighter jet.

1) So the plane that gets the missile off first is likely to win. This favours the F-22 in real life since it's likely to shoot first.
2) In a merge, there is a good chance that both missiles will hit and result in a mutual kill.
3) If the F-22 survives the merge, then it will win.

It is good to see you two having so much fun. Am I missing something, however, would a high off bore helment mounted sight combined with a really good maneuverable plane and the Python really give the F-22 some serious curry? If the Python could track and launch earlier, Longshot could have balanced the scales. That a generation 4 fighter was still managing to kill an F-22 was seriously awesome David V Goliath stuff. With the role of whipping boy being played so often by the long suffering Longshot - there is an element of karmic justice watching him land some punches for a change!
So much entertainment in one video 😂 GS is simply the best channel on TH-cam and never runs out of wonderful contents. What a legend!😏

how bout a BVR fight between F-35 and Su 57 where both aircraft dont know where the enemy was and they can use their stealth and they can also use medium range missile like the AMRAAM, the one who detect the other one first will most likely win

I would like to see that when you merge, if the missile is still after you, reversing the turn might save you in the f-22. If you can get out of the sight range, you can defeat it possibly.
