Takumi got bored of the Akina life, so he left for Tokyo. The drive was long, but he did it. Eventually as the sun set, he could see the bright lights of the city over the horizon. As he drove through the streets, seeing the bright, vibrant lights, seeing the sticker-covered cars, the people walking and chatting, sitting and eating, enjoying the view. So many people in the city, despite it nearing 11 PM. He stopped at a light, to hear the roar of a rotary engine, out of nowhere comes an orange RX-7, a Veilside FD3S comes speeding up, and slides through the intersection, right behind it a Red Evo 9. Takumi is startled, drifters here!? In Tokyo!?... Being at the front of the line, he puts his Hachiroku into first gear, and roars through the intersection, following the RX-7 and the Evo as they drift through the streets. Despite not being on a downhill, just a few seconds in and Takumi is on the bumper of the Evo, directly behind it as he follows it. Soon they come up to another large intersection, whipping to the side of the Evo, he shifts into 5th gear, pulling past the Evo as it brakes. At the last second he slams the brakes and whips the steering wheel to the right, then to the left, the old Trueno begins to slide right, but holds the drift, pulling him through the intersection, and onto the bumper of the RX-7. They're coming up to the port now, and Fujiwara spots a parking garage, the RX-7 is heading right for it. He has to pass this RX-7... A tank of gas rides on it! Pushing his Hachiroku to it's limits, he pushes the car past 140 kmh, the dinging going off in his ears as he pulls up alongside, looking at the driver of the mysterious orange RX-7. The driver looks back at him, with a grin, Takumi feels at home, as they both speed into the garage, to immediately brake and turn into a drift, drifting around the parking garage. The Evo 9 directly behind him as he's behind the Mazda. He needs to pass the Mazda, and at the next turn, he pulls to the inside and barely skims the concrete pillar, merely millimetres from hitting it. Now he's passing the Mazda, he's so close. They've been going up this parking garage with every drift, and now he sees the final turn, a tight, 1-car wide ramp that spirals. He needs to pass the Mazda. Petal to the metal, hands gripping the steering wheel, most of the car is passed the Mazda, and the Mazda pulls off, letting the old 86 pass in front. All three vehicles get to the ramp, all bumper-to-bumper as they drift, only centimetres separating each vehicle as they drift up the spiral ramp. Eventually at the top Takumi spins his Trueno around, coming to a stop, the Veilside RX-7 and Evo 9 also stopping, the two drivers turning their rides off and stepping out. Sean and Han, is what Takumi is told their names are, and they're glad to meet a drifter with skills that surpass their own. Asking where the old 86 and the driver is from, Han and Sean are shocked to find the teenage Takumi Fujiwara is from Mount Akina, or Mount Haruna. A mountain drifter who managed to beat the two best drifters in Tokyo. They give Takumi mad respect, which like usual, responds with a simple thanks, while looking spaced out. Fujiwara found some new friends to drive with! His father however, is definitely not going to be happy when he finds out where his son went, with his car, for a week!
Oh yeah, don't make fun of me for how much I use whip, I don't have better words for some things. Both this story and the one on the Astronomia remix have a lot of the word "whip" or any variation.
