Thanks for the upload. Just received a shipment of wheels with a bag of axles. Now I know how to use them. And my dremel can’t fit a large enough bit to drill out the rivets. Just want to repair/ replace axles on a few loose cars I acquired. Figure that would be a good first foray into this
Snips. Flush cutters. Any ace hardware or similar store should have something. They need to be slim though to fit but still strong enough to cut the axel
Obviously they look good on a shelf in a diaroma. However some of us are more interested in the racing aspect of the 1:64th scale Diecasts? How well do they perform on the tracks?! 🏁🏴☠️ Thanx 4 Sharing.
Hopefully we got all the S15’s wheel swapped now! 😅😂🙌🏻🙌🏻
Whats the reason why you need to bend the end part of the axle?
It’s so that axel end stays in place otherwise it will fall out
It’s a great video. I wonder if a person could use a small axle tube, drill the chassis and use stock axle halves as keepers?
You can do that! I had issues though with drilling the wholes bigger and it came out a little crooked..
Excellent wheel swap, I am not so skilled like you, keep up the good work.
🙏🚗
Thank you!! This way of doing it is pretty simple!
Do you have a video or link to the tools you use? I am looking for a tool that I can use to cut the axel on the premiums without drilling.
Should be able to get some flush cutters online that will do the job!

Great episode!!! Been super interested in doing will swaps for some of my openers… I will be giving you a follow, great content!!!
Awesome! Thank you! I have a bunch of wheel swap videos with links to all the stuff I use 👍🏼
Question: How do you know which axle to use?
As far as width? Depends on what car you are doing. I’d just buy multiple sizes like I did so you have everything you need for any car!
@@furiouslycollecting That sounds like a plan! Thank you!
Just getting into this. Who makes good plastic racing wheels?
Most people just use hot wheels wheels. 🛞 There are the faster then ever wheels and the hot wheels Id wheels seems to be fast!
Ok, thank you. Are these axles on ebay or mmr website?
Check out Mod my ride for axles
Super lake 😊 super cool 😮
Thanks for visiting! 😎🙌🏻
What size of wheels on s15?
They are just the standard hot wheels premium 5 spokes.
Is that an electrical plier cutter?
Yup
