Thanks for the shoutout Matt! I appreciate you taking the time to answer my questions and the help you provided. Your guides/videos are making my life easier as I decide what to include in my first Sim build. Gordon.
Hi, it controls the radios, Nav, FMS Autopilot, XPDR. Um using it with a C172 and I literally don’t need the mouse after start up (to switch lights and fuel pump) at all anymore.
You can buy the bracket from Aerosoft but at high shipping cost. There are a couple of nice 3D printing solutions online. If you don’t have a 3D printer, there are plenty of companies that will print if for you for around $10 depending on material you use.
Yes, the Octavi is perfect brilliant.

the Octavi is brilliant takes a bit of getting used to but it works great
Good to know, thanks! Can you use it to manage COM 1 and COM 2? or NAV 1 and NAV 2? Or is it focussed on COM 1 freqs only?
Com 1 and 2 Nav 1 and 2 FMS1 and 2 @@flightsimguides

The preconfigured Yoketop setup looks very nice. The price point is great too, if it includes all the avionics instruments.
I really like my steam deck, with the right plug-in really helps me not have to use the mouse.
@@seattime4075 nice…. I’ve got one of those but haven’t used it for flight simming at all. I should give it a shot.
The picture of the Octavi on Amazon shows that the bracket for mounting it on top of the yoke isn't included. Where does one get such a bracket???
