I love the battle between lock shock and barrel. When jack sings his part you can hear the anger and annoyance in his voice, hes tired of all this and trying to save his friends, protect his woman and stop oogie once and for all, and no matter the mercy he gives these kids they repeat their actions so he ready to give them the ectoplasm belt.
Yeah they deserve those lashings and plenty more of it lol

Agreed. Though personally I think even a steam remake would be nice. Game wasn’t the best(got so lost in the hinterlands) but I quite enjoyed playing through it and trying to unlock the alternate costumes 😊. The alternate versions to some of the movies songs were great too.
I love how at the start, Jack sounds alright but as the game progresses...

I remember owning this game and enjoying it quite a bit 😊. Though I wasn’t a fan of only being able to upgrade your abilities in the second level. Meaning I had to replay it every time I wanted to upgrade. I also remember getting so lost during in hinterlands(didn’t have a guide and didn’t think to look it up). I did also enjoy how they redid some of the movies songs to fit what was happening.
Damn Jack is probably one of my absolute Favorite Protagonists just takes a Villian Song and makes a immidiate clap back while kicking theire ass

It is a sequel. It just isn't that great of a sequel since it basically just does what the movie does.

@@boombabear99the movie is about Jack trying to takeover Christmas for he’s feeling of stagnation in he’s life
The game is about Oogie boogie kidnapping the seven holiday leaders to become the the king of them all
And the other game which is a prequel is how Oogie (the king of Bug day) is angry because Jack calls himself pumpkin king for a Halloween trick and since Oogie is still mad about losing he’s holiday, he takes he’s anger on Halloween town (also the kids kidnap sally on accident after Oogie sent them to kidnap jack)
I absolutely love how The recreations of the songs but slightly different versions are beautiful 😊

If you have a computer you can get this program called PCSX2 that lets you play ps2 games. There are also videos that show you where you can find games for it.

Haven't seen this game in years.
I really wish I could emulate PS2 games on my laptop, because I doubt that the musical sections would work well on actual hardware on an HD television.
You could try getting an external graphics card if your laptop isn't powerful enough to run Ps2 games.

Ah reluctantly no explanation is ever given. Maybe it’s a power he stole from kingdom hearts or maybe finklestein gave him a device to make a shadow of himself? Oogie does seem to have some spells in the game that came out of nowhere so your guess is as good as mine

Honestly that would've been a great call back to this game.
Kingdom Hearts 2 cane out the same year as this game. It likely Capcom didn't want spoilers and requested no material from their game be in Kh2.
After that, there is no game to fit this story in. Kh days is the only other kh game to appear, and it is set before the movie.
