His attacks eats up the red souls too fast and I only used him when the enemies overwhelmed me. Altho I only stayed in that form because it looks so badass. For me it was LvL3 Soul Rubber(I always thought it was Robber) all the way.

I also just noticed for the first time that Jack never uses his Soul Robber in this fight. Jack is THAT pissed, he doesn't even think to use it. ...though that does make me wonder what he's actually doing when shooting the music notes. I mean, it's not like they ever explain that :/
You know Oogie Boogie's boss battles should've had something like that in his Kingdom Hearts appearances (not that there was anything wrong with those battles)

He's tired of putting up with him and is angry. That subtle organ is just epic. "You? The Seven Holidays King? That'll be the day!" and "You're king of NOTHING" hits hard coming from pissed off Jack. His fearlessness is what made him the "Only Pumpkin King"

Say it like it is! These songs actually got stuck in my head MORE than the originals did (Especially the 3 Oogie Songs). This was originally gonna be a prequel, but Tim Burton wanted fans to interact with their favorite characters more, so it was re-written into a video game. Burton oversaw EVERY aspect of the game, the original voice actors are in it, and the songs are fantastic. What's not to like jobiwan101 and JacobusHolland? HMMMMMMM!?!?!?!?!
What oogie should have known is that there's a difference between having a crap load of power and knowing how to use that power and using the mistakes of you're opponent to you're advantage.
Most final boss fights would have the hero barely beating the big bad or struggling and pulling it out. Not here, Jack is pissed and is just unleashing on Oogie. Not only does his confidence never waver but he clearly is toying and fucking with Oogie. He knows hes got him cornered and screwed

It's a 3D exploration game with your weapin being goop and you can transform into different costumes later on and there is sometimes a boss fight and Rhythm game mechanics i never got the chance to beat it on xbox when i was younger

Looking back, Jacks lyrics are cheesy, and the delivery wasn’t great. But oogie steals any scene he’s in.
I remember when I used to play that game, that, it took me a good 3 days to do this boss, on easy I belive? I just couldn't do the last part, and I also remember, I was telling myself I could do it, when you see in the video the part of the well that would show Jack and Oogie, I knew at that part things would fuck me up, but OBOI, did I screamed when I finally beat him, OBOI, I was happy af

But seriously, that feeling when it finally happens, when he finishes that final verse and the notes suddenly stop coming at you and you realize that you did it, that you finally did it, is the best feeling.
