Thank you very much for taking the time to make these videos for us. I'm currently studying for the CPC certification exam and your videos are very helpful , you make it so easy to understand. I do have my AAPC study guide, but your videos are so helpful. you are a blessing to so many people. Thanks again, and God bless.

Truth to the other subscriber, you never quit learning. I've been out of work for 7 years! and I'm going to try and get back into coding (I still hold my AAPC CPC certification). I appreciate these videos, you're helping me review the 2024 guidelines.

Thank you for sharing that at the beginning of the video. I have been listening to your videos while I'm working. I have found that it is so easy to become siloed as a coder. My endeavor is to be well rounded. Your videos helped me 6 years ago when I was studying for my CPC. Thank you Coach for encouraging coders everywhere❤.

I just finished online training and sadly I didn't learn much😮‍💨 so now I'm doing self-study. I am in the health field so medical terminology is pretty good, but the guidelines are slightly overwhelming but I'm excited for this new career. Thank you for your much-needed help❤

I'm still in school and still feel overwhelmed especially about coding first. Is there a way to get more clarification or s this when I totally follow guidelines? I don't mean to come across ignorant but there is so much in such small "doses" that I'm learning each semester that I'm not sure I'm getting what I need for the exam.

Just remember, as a Medical Coder, our goal is to code the diagnoses to the fullest extent. If the code does not include everything needed, then you know you will need an additional code. Look in the Tabular List for directions like "use additional code" or "code first". This will help you to know which code goes first.

It’s all about training the eye (as our master coach mentioned before). It can definitely feel overwhelming at first but it get better. Practice make progress and the more you get use to the format of the modules the less overwhelming it gets! Don’t give up! Keep at it. Find a study schedule that won’t burn you out and it will all come together for you 😊 the modules are your guide. Challenge yourself to get to know the ways of your modules (inside/out) and once your familiar with them you will recall and know where to go to find your appropriate code. The book is so detailed because it’s meant to guide you through any scenario per category! Good look and remember you have a community of coders out there!
