A very much family favourite meal.
☆oven 200⁰c 35 minutes
airfryer 180⁰c 20- 25 minutes
Ingredients :
Sage and onion chicken balls
Makes 20
●170g sage and onion stuffing mix
●450ml boiling water
●500g chicken mince
●oil
●salt & pepper
Method :
▪︎Tip stuffing mix into a bowl add boiling water, cover and leave for 15 minutes
▪︎After 15 mons use a fork to break up stuffing, add chicken mince, seasoning .
☆ Tip: add some oil to your gloves so mixture does not stick
▪︎make into golf ball size balls, place PM lined tray in oven for 35 minutes. (Until cooked through)
Creamy cabbage and leek
Serves 4
INGREDIENTS
▪︎6 savoy cabbage leaves no stalks
Finely sliced
▪︎2 leeks finely sliced
▪︎40g butter
1 tbsp plain flour
200ml chicken stock
1 tsp mustard
120ml single cream
Salt and pepper
METHOD
▪︎melt the butter in a pan
▪︎Add leeks and cabbage and cook 5-7 minutes until soft.
▪︎stir in the flour
▪︎add half the chicken stock and stir until bubbles again then add the other half. Once bubbling again add mustard and single cream. ▪︎Season generously.
ROAST POTATOES
This is the way my grandma Bea did her potatoes.
Ingredients.....
▪︎As many potaoes as you want and type. I did Maris piper and sweet potaoes.
▪︎Salt and Pepper
▪︎corn meal super fine
Method...
▪︎Par boil in salted water until fork tender
▪︎once drained, shake in the pan until edges are fluffy.
▪︎add approx 2 tablespoons of cornmeal and shake again. Spray with oil and cook in airfryer as per machines Instructions
