Side note: When showing the tin design, I mistakenly said that the ingredients are shown at the bottom of the tin; it's actually the product's description. The ingredients are printed under the directions on the side of the tin.

This Pomade is just great! Im super happy they brought out an oil based and especially in this kind of awesome tin. An Layrite OB with the cream soda scent would also be super nice!

How does it compare to Murray's Beeswax? I use MBW and like how inexpensive it is and how it holds my hair. I want to try Suavecito's OB but it cost 2 to 3 times more (depending on vendor) and can't seem to justify the purchase

It’s funny, cuz both the oil and water-based have the same scent, but almost not the same. Like the oil smells a little more lose and open where as the water-based is very square and boxy. Weird description i know but thats the beat way i could describe it.

Pretty cool and informative one! Good job. Never tried that one. Wondering, how are the residues and stains on pillow for this one? Nasty or ok?

Thanks for review! How would you compare it - is it closer to Murray's Nu Nile or to 50-50?

When you show the contents of the can, it looks like a yellowish version of Lockhart's Medium in terms of consistency. If it's anything like that, I definitely have to grab one.

Marc John: It's not. Lockhart's Medium is way better. Suavecito's oil-based isn't horrible, it's just ok. (Smells great though!). Try both and compare.

As before, I love your review videos, but I have wavy and thin hair so I need an incredibly strong hold pomade in order to get a pomp like Suavecito strong hold. What I am looking for is a really strong hold pomade that also has a great shine. Any recommendations? (sadly, I tried Murray's superior and it didn't hold up, strangely it made my pomp curl)

Mohammed Qureshi Lockhart's Goon Grease should be your answer - it's not the strongest thing ever but it's a firm to heavy so it's a higher hold and has a shine level between medium and high

Would you say this is a closer medium to reuzel green or closer to a lockharts medium?

      Hold wise etc

    • @wayne2150
      @wayne2150 5 ปีที่แล้ว

Cleighton: its consistency is somewhat similar to both; but both Reuzel Green and Lockhart's Medium perform much better, in my opinion. I've tired all three of these; and if I had to rate them in order of hold/overall performance, I'd say:
      1. Lockhart's Medium.
      2. Reuzel Green.
      3. Suavecito oil-based.
      But I love Suavecito OG (water-based)! 😁

I honestly don't want to sound mean or anything but I would really appreciate it if you'd watch the whole video before asking first, I covered it here. I did not make the entire video for nothing.

Don't listen to this guy at least if you don't want to fuck your hair up. Just apply some conditionner on dry hair before showering, then wash your hair and re condition.
