I never had any big huge themed bday parties for my kids. We always bake cake on our own and just immediate family cut the cake in the evening. The more you spoil the children unnecessarily, the more they have less value for money and privilege
Same and I let them decorate the cake with bunties and jelly,, they r happy to bake and decorate their own cake and in the end I give them some colour, paints or even balloons ,, kids need your time and love and tawajaah not alot of fancy things to stay happy,,, Jo k aaj k parents nai dete and later they complain bachai hamari nai suntai
Problem is with our generation......who were trying to please their parents all their childhood and youth and now trying to keep our kids happy with doing maximum we can possibly do.....saadi na koi ijtamayi bizti period ae 80's 90's walay bachon ka....

Relatable. I am also annoyed by the fact that kids get bored quite often. They want it happening. My son asks alot what i used to do wn i got bored and seriously i don't remember a single time of my childhood when i got bored. This generation is a test of our patience like we were for our parents i guess. 😐

I loved to have huge birthday party in my childhood but never get one. Except my 1 year brthday. And now i dont celebrate birthdays of my kids. We just have a good photoshoot and have a good meal after that date

Kids ko her cheez fauran provide krna bi theek nahi.my kids also get happy on simple biscuits celebrations while no special dresses no huge parties.just a random cousins gatherings.
Its like a wedding party, not birthdays anymore. Its more about parents and their "prestige" rather than little kids. And by doing so we are teaching kids extravagance and not joy of simple things in life. I thoroughly dislike themed big bash birthdays.🙏

Can't explain. Then a cousin who was in the house, so I got a broach from him. No party's....everrrrrrrrr But I still remember them gifts and love it. 🥰
