Moss sporophytes DO NOT have vascular tissue. The sporophyte stage does grow upwards to facilitate spore dispersal, but they are very small and thin so they can remain upright with just the turgur pressure (water) in the cells. They could not grow much taller and they could not be thicker and still do this.
Soltacummings, I use the "notebook" software that is bundle with my "SmartBoard" to create the visuals. And then I capture the screen vierw and audio with screencast-o-matic . com You could use something like keynote or powerpoint but then you would need additional software to allow you to write on your screen. I hate the static nature of powerpoint.
your videos are so great! they are helping me out so much! im a bio major studying for my exam and these videos are exactly what I was looking for! thank you so much!
very simple and well structured explanation...... thanks a lot ..... i find botany quite hard..... but it looks really simple after viewing this... plz keep on posting more videos like this.
I wondered if it might have been smart board stuff. It is possible that I could use my iPad as a tablet for writing on the screen. It can work as a track pad.
Good videos but moss grows on the north side of a tree in the northern hemisphere because it get less sun, not because the north side gets more rain. It grows more readily on the south side in the southern hemisphere, of course.
