But it's still interesting that she basically gives no shit about other people but at the same time vehemently denies any accusation of being selfish. Makes me really curious to know why she actually turned out the way she is now.

This has to be one of my favorite RPGs. The story is amazing and you grow so attached to the characters. I love the music as well! Seems like this game is pretty transparent in its intentions: we know Ray probably isn't as innocent as she comes off, Zack ain't so bad a guy (I mean, not the evil we're troping a lot these days anyway), the priest is an observer guy, and whatever else comes is going to be one hell of a plot twist involving our protag. Btw, the author himself admitted that Ray used to just be a normal girl and Zack was more of a jaded nihilist, so fancy how the final product turned out. I like it, but still not utilizing the art of subtlety well enough if the player can make assumptions and be accurate about most of them.

I thought maybe it would be interesting to talk about Rachel's character. for me who comes from a religious background I was confused about her deeper character and her reasoning. I finished the game because I liked it so much (thought I'm still watching manly play it) and their were still a good amount of questions I had about Rachel and her reasoning, but I love the character development both Rachel and Zack had through this ordeal. I also like how they didn't necessarily mock religion in their own words but the reasoning Rachel depended on God wasn't as truthful as it seemed. and that religion is different depending on the perspective. IDK I don't wanna give anything away but I really think this is a great discussion point.

Strange, It's hard for me to insert and replace the word *"God"* with *"love"* when Gray says it, because he's actually talking about religion while Zach and Rachel use religion as a metaphor or excuse for their own ambitions and desires.
I'm at the court part, and everyone is saying what she did was for herself, but of you just replace "herself" with "Zack", then it would actually be true. She did it all for Zack. I don't think she did it just so she could die, otherwise she would have let Eddie kill her. She didn't die, so that Zack could survive. If she died when they were out, Zack would be safe. Therefore, she is not selfish, she just care for Zack over anyone else.

She never actually LIED. She dodged and deflected but never outright lied. Though I think it's more to keep Zack safe and would accept his anger and hatred gracefully for not telling him.

Found this guy the other day, and I never finished watching a play through of this game. All I can say is: This game has better romance than Twilight does, and that’s a fact.
I think zack has muscle hypertrophy along with some trauma on appearences of emotion due to the videos and words spoken to him as a child. Emotion singallyign danver/weakness, and reason/potential to kill. The muscle power/density would actually help him with a lot of whats happened to him, he could also have cardial hypotrophy.

_Oh My God_ This episode was almost totally a VN vs an rpg... not that I mind because we did get more of the complete story of Zack, who is my favorite. We also got a little more of the Angels of Death, the inhabitants of this fantasy realm of Apartment Hell run by a priest. A priest who uses magic dust instead of incense to dispense judgement as "god". Now we finally hit Rachel's level, so we'll see her story - looked like she witnessed a killing. But I think she's one weird little girl, maybe pushed over the edge into being a killer & developing a very screwed up version of god, sin, & the path to redemption. My one criticism of this game besides Kotori Peepers Obake is the use of this is what God wants... there is a God, Zack is God, the priest is God, no - we are all God within our hearts. Wtv. No one likes liars, god or not..
I'm wondering if everyone, even the villains, are a apart of the orphanage or foster home Zack grew up in. The preacher may have been the owner (the adopted father if it's an orphanage (I don't remember which one it was)) and the others could simply be the staff and/or kids. I think Ray's either part of the bullying Zack endured otherwise she would simply told him the truth. I might even hazard a guess that the "guy" who set him on fire was really her. So she would either be a sister or half-sister. I'm scratching my head. I hope the next one doesn't take long. This is gonna bug me for the rest of the night. -- I really like this game and story. I think the pacing is fine. I'm gonna miss this once it wraps up.
It hit me finally. Don't they need more time to really heal up? I mean, wounds don't close up just like that. Or do they have some high healing factor.

This episode was almost totally a VN vs an rpg... not that I mind because we did get more of the complete story of Zack, who is my favorite. We also got a little more of the Angels of Death, the inhabitants of this fantasy realm of Apartment Hell run by a priest. A priest who uses magic dust instead of incense to dispense judgement as "god".
Now we finally hit Rachel's level, so we'll see her story - looked like she witnessed a killing. But I think she's one weird little girl, maybe pushed over the edge into being a killer & developing a very screwed up version of god, sin, & the path to redemption.
My one criticism of this game besides Kotori Peepers Obake is the use of this is what God wants... there is a God, Zack is God, the priest is God, no - we are all God within our hearts. Wtv. No one likes liars, god or not..

I'm wondering if everyone, even the villains, are a apart of the orphanage or foster home Zack grew up in. The preacher may have been the owner (the adopted father if it's an orphanage (I don't remember which one it was)) and the others could simply be the staff and/or kids. I think Ray's either part of the bullying Zack endured otherwise she would simply told him the truth. I might even hazard a guess that the "guy" who set him on fire was really her. So she would either be a sister or half-sister. I'm scratching my head. I hope the next one doesn't take long. This is gonna bug me for the rest of the night. -- I really like this game and story. I think the pacing is fine. I'm gonna miss this once it wraps up.

The Zack/knife metaphor was actually really cool, wow. I liked this chapter, Gray annoys me a bit but the character development and the writing in general are really good. I'm glad Rachel's losing some of her deadpan...
