- As we speak today, the PDP has not acted even in a reconciliatory manner, in favour of Gov. Sim Fubara. If the governor says he feels betrayed or abandoned by the party, it will be difficult to deny those allegations

Thats y i dont understand what atiku is fighting for, he cannot even control the party he wants to control Nigeria.. very sad!!...
They refer to him as Pathfinder but he has failed as the leader of the party. I don’t see him as a leader though, because he only cares about the party whenever he wants to use PDP as a platform for his ambition.

Atiku's silence is indeed golden. But most of his foot soldiers are backing Fubara. I really do not know why he is sitting on the fence in taking a stance in Fubara Vs Wike.
There is nofin golden about his silence he simply helpless. But for his Tambuwal he lost his PDP ticket. The soul of that party lies with Wike.

And he knows that when Wike decides to play his secret cards finally, that it would be in his best interest to have wike as an ally when that time comes. I'm saying this cos I feel that wike will not make Tinubu's line up of ministers by 2027 if Tinubu wins again which most likely he will. If he makes that line up again he will become too powerful that the Apc will never be okay with that. And that will be Tinubu's second term where a lot of strong men are mostly tamed and benched forever

When Wike finished with DPD he will fully return to APC. Look at Edo, Rivers etc. the aim is to disorganized the opposition. The DPD chairman as compromised.

The truth of the matter is that the PDP is no longer a strong political party in Nigeria. They have ceased to be a formidable opposition to the APC. If they continue with their shenanigans, by 2027, the APC will be the only significant political party in Nigeria. The Obedient movement isn't getting things right either.

Mr. Ologbondiyan must admit that in the 2023 general elections the PDP in Rivers State had two factions, those that supported Wike for Tinubu and those who supported Atiku. PDP leaders did not actually campaign for Fubara, all the campaign were vigorously carried out by Wike and his men. Atiku almost avoided campaign in Rivers State even for himself talk of for Fubara. Immediately after Fubara won the faction that supported Atiku gradually began to show support and this support was heightened when crisis developed between Wike and Fubara and as we speak the PDP in Rivers are always proud to announce when Wike's supporters chnage to support Fubara. This established chaos in the party on the state level and that national leaders in the party including the presidential candidate turned deaf ears to what is happening in Rivers State. Who is the victim? Fubara. Right now he is just like a fish outside the water struggling to govern under pressure and distractions all because the inability of PDP both on the state and national level to step in and resolve the issues between Wike and Fubara. All the noise being made by the PDP members in Rivers is a show of with no positive outcome. Wike is not APC members but since he is working under an APC administration he is playing a very safe game by making people wonder where he belongs. I supported those who suggested Fubara to defect to APC or any other party right now before it is too late before Wike does if that will ever happen. From all the crisis facing PDP as a party right now, Fubara chances for 2027 is very slim. It is sad. Wike has no problem doing his job as the minister of FCT, it is Fubara who is left to struggle by the party he belongs to. Hopefully, he will learn before his term runs out.

Atiku's silence has shown that he is not a leader in PDP where he was given ticket. Obi went headlong against the crisis in LP. He is currently containing it. That's the mark of a true leader.

It's an open truth that Wike witheld his support for the PDP in the last presidential election and by extension, Fubara never came out to support the Presidential Candidate of the party either.
In my view, I think it's lack of conscience for Fubara to expect the national body of PDP to openly support him after he declined to openly support Atiku in the last presidential election.
Moreover, professional politicians are weary of persons who have shown disloyalty to their benefactors as it's a trait that can be served to anyone at anytime. The people of Rivers may like Fubara and what he has done but in the Nigerian polity, the professional politicians don't like such persons and they don't entrust them with sensitive positions. Biting a finger that fed you in politics is a big red flag among the gladiators.
Thinking outside the box , what if Wike is actually a mule in APC and the PDP National body is only playing a strategic politics with the move?
Did Fubara ever think of the possibility of such before openly fighting Wike and expecting the support of the same body that's not unaware of the mission of Wike in APC.
The last question by Vimbaye is the main issue. PDP national has to be "neutral" or play the ostrich so that all parties will keep paying their monthly party dues. Simple politics!
