If he plays like that. START HIM. yes it was only hearts but he has a point to prove. He knows if he doesnt play good Poro takes his place. Its the best for the club if he starts prem games. It shows competition and if poro gets injury or suspended we have a backup. He was great in the championship and even on his loan he looked brilliant. Same levels as poro in my book
What gives him a point of difference to Porro is his speed, physical presence and agility. He seems a good fit for Ange’s system. We would be crazy to get rid of the kid without giving him another chance during pre-season.
The strange thing is I think Djed Spence is a better player than Porro . Porro just has a better range of passing. Djed Spence has everything to be one of the best attacking wingback in the game apart from the rght attitude

I do feel that Spence unfortunately found himself as a pawn in the Conte/Levy power struggle and as a young player wasn’t able to manage the impact this had upon him and maybe the criticisms of attitude issue were warranted. Fast forward a few loan spells and Spence has return to the club during preseason with lots of young players in the fringes of the first team and I think it’s this that helping him to show himself in a new light. Rumours are there are lots of positive comments about him and he may have even had a conversation with Ange to explain his perspective….

He has excellent hardware. Despite the desire of every Tottenham fan to see him play in the starting lineup, he has a track record of acting unethically, being lazy in the team trainning session. if he is a disciplined as player, and sound mind. He could be full time 100 percent.
It was the eye opener of the game. Selling Emerson ,will give Ange another requirement in RB. Keeping Emerson ,makes that position more vulnerable in his style of play. Spence is a better fit,if can show consistency in attitude and application , and one less gripe against Levy here .
