You were visited by a porcupine. They crave the salt in your sandal straps. They have destroyed thousands of dollars worth of backpacks straps, foam back panels, trekking pole grips, sandal straps, coats and gloves, etc.... I have seen deer chew sleeves off and arm pits out of Patagonia and ArcTeryx jackets that were hung on bushes to dry overnight. Salt is a necessary mineral and quiet an 'attraction' to marmots, racoons, and the ever viscious porupines.

I have no memory of that video hahaha but the only two card decks I have are the Cosmic Guidance Oracle deck from Dreamy moons and the Wild Unknown Pocket Tarot deck (but dreamy moons has a BEAUTIFUL tarot deck too and she’s a small business and does all the art herself!)
You don't have the very necessary BEAR SPRAY, friend??! All hikers I watch say it is a necessity, anyway. Also, you found no animal tracks outside of your tent?? and/or did you happen to look up in the trees for that sandal, you never know... what a mystery!
No bear spray 😬 that’s why I separated myself from all food products haha I looked for track and in the trees, nothing. Spent a solid hour looking before I started to feel a sunburn coming on so I went back to the shade haha

i am very careful! The only thing i'm begging for is a relaxing time away from the crowds of Colorado haha
