Off the cuff Uncle Garrett made me laugh so much, y'all gotta bring him back. I so badly want to see this series of videos of the trainer failing to train the corso.
A basic: If a dog owner does not know canine nature and different breeds....then how could they evaluate training techniques? How could a person evaluate a historian, if that person does not know history? I do not need to know everything but I better know the basics on canines before I can evaluate a dog trainer. Once we learn, we will see similar methods among the best trainers. Those folks that believe Zak George is a good trainer, lack knowledge on dogs.
Wow, that is the most in depth, insightful, helpful, I'm running out of adjectives, speech about dog training I have ever heard. Absolutely fucking top notch. 💪👍🐶♥️
Yes, my students get their orientation where I mention emergency situations - vaccinations and bloat are 2 of them. When you call the vet - can you hold - you say NO! One of my students actually talked about a delayed anaphylactic shock from a vaccine. Had a friend who had an English Bulldog that got 2 vaccines, they left the vet office , dog was dead within 2 hours. Some vets are now doing only one vaccine at a time for safety reasons. My Whippet had a reaction to her first vaccine so would ask if they had the crash cart ready whenever she has to get another shot. Some places now accept titres to confirm the dog has enough immunity. Hope that helps.
Wow I'd like to see the video of him training the car chaser, amazing..when I was a little girl we had a dog that would chase cars. We were right next to a military base and it was ongoing craziness.. 1960s I don't think we had dog trainers lol on the farm...back then..great podcast!
I love the beef between all the other dog trainers and Zack George😂 I feel like Zack George is more of a puppy trainer and he's trying to be a dog trainer!
@@Maneich there are tons and tons of trainers in Canada. K9 academy, and the structured canine are two colleagues of mine that are absolutely top notch trainers that will help you with anything needed.
Not off the top of my head. You can find it easily though just go back a month or so on his tik tok. It’s with his black corso and the corso is on a platform outside Next to him
Haha the video wasn’t even anything special. He was just talking about getting a dog from a shelter vs breeder on a tiktok from the a week or so ago. It’s in his office with a puppy pit on the desk.
Question: what good does the ecollar do if the dog is off leash and gets jumped by two or three dogs, like can't get away from the other dogs because on the ground? Have always wondered how that tool is going to help you in that scenario.

Thanks for leaving your experience. Medical issues with dogs can be scary when you don’t understand what’s going on
Absolutely love Garret, what a cool down to earth guy, hard to say as I'm normally not too fond of the 5'o' but love this guy 😉👍🐶♥️
