Back in the days, there wehre "The Big Three", which where Bleach, Naruto and One Piece. Bleach was first popular because the story plays in Japan. But the popularity changed drastically. Naruto became a hit because up to this, there where no good Ninja story. Naruto ended with marriage and "The Last" movie with kids. Bleach artist had at this point a bad reputation because he pissed of his fans by being lazy and repeating the story a secound time, with different characters. By lazy i mean, from super good and detailed manga, to two page blank pages and only words in it. The outrage was crazy. And with Narutos Marriage, SUDDENLY, Bleach Artist wanted his series to end like Naruto, even thought, Bleach NEVER hat to do with "The Next Generation" to begi.nn with. Bleach became very unpopular from the big three.
And then there is One Piece. The most side eyed and once unpopular series out of the three, became the most successful and most selling series in the world, outselling even some western comic series!
Who knew that a fantasy, non romance, full of tragedy, humour and adventure series become the most popular and still running series?

I don't understand these types of reactions. I don't usually watch them but I had to click out of curiosity. What's the point of watching a top countdown of something you've not the slightest clue about? It's like reading a book BUT only the best 10 pages throughout, picked by someone else. Will you understand what's going on? Unlikely. Will you enjoy it? Probably not? Is there a point? - ............

Best thing about this list is it'll need to be redone after the next 50ish episodes. There are some fights that will look pretty crazy with the way they are animating this last arc. Hell, even Kenpachi training bit might be a top fight if you can call it that...... lol
After watching said fights up to current release can confirm they top this entire list and then some

02:41 nah bro, Kenpach is SO POWERFUL that when he gripped his katana (a 2 handed weapon) with both hands he literally would blow up everything within a mile of his strike.
His power it would turn out is to "cut through anything" and eventually he literally cuts through a planet killing asteroid.
My man Kenpachi was so strong he never even knew his zanpaktous name and it turned out his lieutenant and "right hand man" was a physical manisfestation of his sword all along. He was so strong he was manifesting his swords souls spirit into the world where it acted free and independently from Kenny.
Kenpachi is king.
Damn, I heard that last part somewhere in a video but couldn't find it on bleach wiki nor any actual scene from the manga saying it.

His sword's manifestation disappears right after Kenpachi activates it for the first time but we don't get to know why, how, where she (the manifestation is a little pink haired girl) went untill after several episodes later when kenpachi is being defeated and she manifests in front of him again and tells him something along the lines of "silly kenny, you still not using me at full power, here, lemme show you" and releases bankai for him (again, i'm paraphrasing) but one of the most awesome things about the scene is that her pupils had a sword shape in them instead of their regular shape.
To elaborate further Captain Unohan of the Healer division and the former Kenpachi before "Kenny" showed up used her healing powers to fight Kenny until one of them actually died: In the process the Current Kenpachi was finally able to hear his swords name and release his true Shikai:
As Vicious stated further down his sword teaches him to release his bankai properly and he reaches even higher planes of strength.
Remember Kenpachi is a title for "battle lover" or "battle crazed lover" and This current kenpachi doesn't even remember his own name or past just knows he enjoys one thing and one thing only: fighting to the death.
Bleach is classic.

Nah, that is very debatable. It was a one-sided beatdown, followed by a complete bullshit power-up, which led to another one-sided beatdown. There was no real fight.

This list was shown how stupid it was when that fight was in the top 5 and they simply relegated the extremely legendary Aizen vs the captains to a 2 second part of the background story to that fight.

That moment when ichigo with a mostly broken mask turns and slightly smiles at grimmjow, there's a lot of emotion, understanding, and pity in that look.
No anime character can solo bleach because of one character aizen and if someone says that someone can they never watched bleach
The big baby is the true form of his bankai, a transformation of his sword (zanpakuto) and soul society is like a heaven of sorts for everyone who dies without being a completely corrupt person or being purified in time to not become a hollow. Hueco mundo is like an Hades for corrupted people after dying and Hell is for those currupted while still alive, more or less.
Actually it's closer to Buddhism, Hollows and Hueco Mundo are based on the realm of the hungry ghosts, and the Quincy are the "envious giants."
The structure of the world building in Bleach is vary much almost a 1 to 1 of the realms of the after life in Buddhism! But the story structure of Bleach is vary much inspired by Dante's Inferno. Ichigo's inner trauma of watching his mother die, Ichigo is literally going into the after-life to save Rukia, then Orihime, and Senna from the "Memories of Nobody" movie.
Ichigo is vary much re-living that childhood trauma over and over with these new women in his life, that's what's drives him to the point of challenging gods. You could even take it a step further and say Bleach is a 1 to 1 of Dante's Inferno as well, Rukia was the woman Ichigo ran off to distant lands for, Orihime was dragged to a "hell" of sorts, and once he got her back he ended up making her wify once he realized what he had all along.

No it shouldn't, it honestly is BY FAR the most overhyped fight in the series and one of the most overhyped fights in anime period. It was a one-sided beatdown, followed by a completely bullshit power-up, which ended with a one-sided beatdown. There was no real fight to be had.

I mean, I do agree, the whole point of the "fight" is how completely one sided it is in both cases, but it was almost directly stated that White was going to fully take over if Ichigo somehow died, it was said during the Hollowfication training, so I don't exactly see what you mean there.
@@theforgottenapostle1940 Well, for one thing he was dead. Secondly, he was immediately a Vasto Lorde which is not really how the Hollow System works...not to mention that Vasto Lordes are NOT stronger than Arrancars let alone ones in their Ressurecion forms.

Yeah there are way too many fights where one dudes power is best counter to anothers. Id much rather see Water vs Wind than Water vs Fire

Ichigo vs Ulquiorra isnt number 1 so i ave to say this list is questionable at best 😂😂
Tosen bankai takes away every sense but touch save for those touching his sword in the area defined by the large rings and so kenpachi goes I will not dodge his blade at the last second by dodging once it touches me and so let it impale me so I can find him and get a good hit in.
As for all the different hollow mask that is basically the different mask remains for each one as well as hollow hole position with his noittora in his eye meaning that seeming eye stab actually missed because there was a hole in his head where one eye should be
Ulqiorra won again tbh he never lost to Ichigo in the end he ran out of spiritual life force energy whatever but Hallow ichigo didn't kill him, Ulq beat the demon by taking horn off and Ulq def could of killed ichigo if he wanted but he changed his ways
he was already dead when he cut off the horn. ichigo had destroyed most of his internal organs in a previous attack, only his regeneration and will kept him going long enough to clip the horn.

It was a good fight but I think people just hate that arc, and it was the associated with Bleach not getting a conclusion until TBYW. Gave it a bad memory to most. Just my take on it, though.

I have to disagree with the Starrk fight, he claims Starrk was koryaku's equal but not once did Koryaku actually take any real or noticeable damage. And Starrk was supposedly strong that standing near lesser hollows killed them. And yet it seemed at no point Koryaku was in any real danger. Thus the fight was really not that good. He'll Starrk never even drew out Koryaku's Bankai.
Kyoraku doesn't really take any real damage and would have ended the fight easily with his bankai sure, but we also have to remember that Ukitake did take bunch of those Cero's in and launch em back to Starrk, so who knows really, maybe we could have seen abit more damage on Kyoraku if it was completely 1v1
Not to mention Kyoraku's bankai is indiscriminate and would get a bunch of randoms killed
Plus once Lilynette died making Starrk lose the will to really fight
