@@Darren_Barclay You could also use something like shadow foam to give it a secure yet soft place to sit in that box.
The bracket that you don’t know what it’s for, is for a swinging magnifier lens to help you read the vernier more accurately.
Ah thanks for that, I knew it was for something, I’ve got it in my drawer maybe try and find one for it.
Wish mine had one! Have to use a magnetic mount.
