The clip in the front is what makes it very difficult to remove. I used a narrow rope to provide leverage and only when I moved the rope to the middle of the tail light was I able to pull it off. Thanks very much. Nissan dealerships wanted to charge me $70 to change the bulb.

Thank you for making this video; following your instructions saved me a lot of hassle and money! 👍🏼
I lubed-up the pins and clip before I put it back together in case I ever need to remove the lens again.

Thanks for video. I put one hand on the bottom and second on top wiggling and pooling same time. Goes out easier than I expected. Good to have screwdriver handy to disconnect electrical plug. Thank you.

😆 I broke same light same spot while doing a led change out 2 days after buying my r-sport. They are crazy hard to slide out "Facts"
Glad I did leds, 10 bulbs in rear tailights 6 (3each) in that dang light assembly...only a matter of time before I would have had to get in the ring with it again.... had I used reg bulbs.

At least his voice is understandable and the modulation is good.some of these videos are useless because of poor English and poor modulation. And trying to understand these women with a high pitch voice is futile. Suggestion to all you tube poster watch and LISTEN TO YOU VIDEO BEFORE YOU POST IT. This man did well. Don't mean to be a pita but sometimes you really need the you tube video and it isvery frustrating when you can't understand it or can't hear it or Mr mumble mouth makes the video. Thanks for the people who put out a good video and care about the quality

Does not work for everyone !! Was never able to get the assembly to come off without fear of breaking it.

Broke mine. They design them like this so they can have an excuse to scam people out of money because most people are bound to break them.

yep exploded the backing on one of my taillights changing the brake bulbs. the other one gets condensation in it from a crack in the lens from reinstalling and i was careful throughout, junk!! 🤣🤦‍♂️

Nissan always makes their taillights so complicated so they break.. I usually use duct tape to pull it back

Thanks for the tip! Duct tape worked well!

Fuck Homie! I just had to order 2 assemblies from ebay for that exact fucking reason! this is why I'm searching for videos so when the time comes to change out the damn bulbs again... I don't make the same mistakes BUT! I can't find a way to pull the unit apart without prying from the same spots you pointed out and breaking the fucking lens a second and third time. WTF! Major design flaw if I ever seen one. BTW why is the lens itself not available? another wtf? I tried jiggling and wiggling but to no avail, so snap it went again. I just Krazy glued the pieces for now til I get the new ones. : ^ (
